To determine fertility chances, it is essential to understand the physiology of the ovulatory cycle. Objective. This study assesses the knowledge of the ovulatory cycle (KOC) and associated factors among reproductive-age women in Nigeria. Materials and methods. The research was based on 2018 NDHS data (which was the most current at the time of this study). 90,290 women of reproductive age were taken into account for this investigation. The methods of analysis used are percentage, frequency, chi-square test and Binary Logistic Regression Analysis. p<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. Results. Only 25% of the 90,290 reproductive women included in the investigation were found to be knowledgeable of the ovulatory cycle. The study revealed that age, region, place of residence (urban), religion, marital status (living with a partner), maternal education (primary and higher education), husband's educational level and women's media exposure had a significant effect on knowledge of the ovulatory cycle. Conclusion. KOC, however, was low (25%), necessitating the development and implementation of reproductive health services through community media campaigns and health promotion. The authors of this study urge the Nigerian Ministry of Health to prioritize improving the reproductive health of women by prioritizing adolescents and those with less education. Additionally, media initiatives might be strengthened to improve women's KOC, which is essential for preventing unwanted pregnancy.

Closed-form solutions are obtained for velocity and thermal profiles when both walls of the channel are kept at unequal temperatures. The effects of various controlling parameters such as Hartman number, rarefaction parameter, fluid-wall interaction parameter and Brinkman number on the thermal behavior are discussed with the aid of line graphs. Interesting result from the present work is that increase in rarefaction parameter leads to enhancement in fluid temperature while increase in fluid-wall interaction parameter leads to increase in temperature jump on the walls of the channel.

The problems of difference equations are those of existence, uniqueness and stability of solutions subject to various types of initial twopoint or multipoint boundary conditions. Other problems include the behavior of solution with constant and variable coefficients, the stability and instability of linear and non-linear difference equations. This study was designed to evaluate ordinary differential equations and to test the stability of solutions to difference equation using difference methods. In this work the finite difference method was used which is made up of the forward, backward and the central difference approximations. These techniques were used to evaluate two sample problems of general linear second order differential equations. After solving each problem their error estimates were evaluated. This was done in order to check the level of accuracy and the stability of their solutions and to determine which method or technique is more efficient. It was found that the central difference method was more accurate than other methods having that its error is of order h 2 (i.e. oh 2) as compared to oh in the other cases.

The purpose of this work is to determine the best method of solving nonlinear equations. The work outlined four methods of solving nonlinear equations. Unlike linear equations, most nonlinear equations cannot be solved in finite number of steps. Iterative methods are being used to solve nonlinear equations. The cost of solving nonlinear equations problems depend on both the cost per iteration and the number of iterations required. Derivations of each of the methods were obtained. An example was illustrated to show the results of all the four methods and the results were collected, tabulated and analyzed in terms of their errors and convergence respectively. The results were also presented in form of graphs. The implication is that the higher the rate of convergence determines how fast it will get to the approximate root or solution of the equation. Thus, it was recommended that the Newton's method is the best method of solving the nonlinear equation f(x) = 0 containing one variable because of its high rate of convergence.

According to Maduako (2010) the functions of local government have two fold purposes for its existence created to render services in defined geographical areas. Majorly, the existence of local government was due to inability of the central government to meet the rural needs in satisfying government 17 institutions. However, the first function is administrative, concerned with welfare of the citizen in the provision of goods and services such as; street cleaning, sanitation, refuse collection, road construction and maintenance, housing, water and sewerage, primary education, clinics among others. Other function is to represent and involve citizens in determining specific public needs and how the needs can be met through elected or selected representatives. According to

The reason for this research is because it was observed that whenever students begin to involve themselves in drug abuse, they start to perform poorly in their academics. Data were collected through distribution of questionnaires in Wukari, Taraba State. The number of questionnaires given out was 215 and the number realized was 182. Chisquare was used for the analysis and it was observed that drug abuse has effect on students' academic performance.

The study sought to determine the linear trends of reported cases of measles, to also determine the gender that suffer most on the reported cases of measles in Obudu Local Government Area of Cross River state and forecast future occurrence of the disease. Data used for the study were secondary which were gathered from General Hospital Obudu, from the year 2000 to 2020. Descriptive Statistics where calculated for each variable which shows the values of minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation of each of the variable. The trend analysis for immunized case of measles shows a positive trend which implies increase in immunization. The trend equation for the disease is given by Yt = 367.1-2.89094*t. and trend analysis for reported cases of measles shows a negative trend which implies that cases of measles is decr...
