NOTICE OF TERMINATION OF TENDER PROCEDURE

We are celebrating the International Day of the Ranger with a celebration in the yard of the Natural History Museum in the village of Cherni Osam
On July 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Central Balkan National Park Directorate, together with the host Natural History Museum in the village of Cherni Osam and the National School for Mountain Guides, will offer various stations with activities, some of which are a climbing wall, cable car, adventure activities, research challenges, forest station, introduction to the biodiversity of the National Park and many more.

On the basis of art. VII.8. and Appendix No. 4 of the Annual Plan for Grazing and the Use of Hay in the Central Balkan National Park, 2024 approved by Order No. RD-103/23.05.2024 the Central Balkan National Park Directorate announces the conduct of an accidental distribution of free grazing areas on the territory of the national park.

MAY 20 – WORLD BEE DAY
Today we celebrate World Bee Day and all the pollinators that have been seriously threatened with extinction in the last few years. Now is the time to realize how important pollinators are to our quality of life and our future.
Today we celebrate World Climate Day.
Climate Day was declared by member countries of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, signed on June 5, 1992 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In Bulgaria, the document was ratified in March 1995.
Educational initiatives were held on the occasion of Earth Day
This year, the Central Balkan National Park Directorate celebrated Earth Day through educational activities for the little ones. On April 22, 26 and 29, experts from the Parks Directorate visited the Radost kindergarten in the town of Sevlievo, the Raicho Karolev elementary school and the Neofit Rilski elementary school in the town of Gabrovo.

Today we celebrate International Bird Day. The decision to declare it a special date was made on December 6, 1906 under the Convention for the Protection of Rare Birds.
The largest National Park Central Balkan's Mountain Reserve Dzhendema turns 71 years old
Dzhendema reserve in Central Balkan National Park was declared on March 28, 1953 to protect valuable animal species - chamois, deer, roe deer, fawns. With an area of 4,220.2 ha, Dzhendema reserve is the largest Staroplanin reserve and one of the largest in Bulgaria. It is located in the Kalofers' mountain, on the southern slope of the Botev peak's massif. The undisputed wealth is the vast pastures and forests, almost untouched by human hands. Due to its unique geology and climate the area is at the heart of a modern center for the formation of new types of plant communities, rich in endemic and rare plants.
Water as a source of life.
On the occasion of water day, on March 25, The Central Balkan National Park Directorate experts conducted an eco-education lesson on the topic called "Water in the nature around us" with children from 1st to 3rd grade, from the Ivan Vazov elementary school in the city of Gabrovo.
