The Sava River, the protected natural asset Bojčin Forest, canals, ponds, hunting grounds and forest areas rich in flora and fauna, along with the Aviation Museum, the Fenek Monastery, the traditional event Bojčin Cultural Summer, but also numerous ethnographic features of the so-called Donji Srem (rural architecture, horse breeding, viticulture, gastronomy, Stajko's ethnic house, multi-ethnic communities of Slovaks and Serbs in Boljevci and Dobanovci), are just some of the motives that attract tourists to Surčin. Following international tourism trends, apitourism has been developing in Surčin in recent years, becoming an increasingly important development opportunity for health tourism. This type of tourism is more recent, and is translated as beekeeping tourism, and implies various benefits in the prevention of health, from consuming beekeeping products to staying in the direct vicinity of bees.

The classical distinction between countries of tourist offer and countries of tourist demand has ... more The classical distinction between countries of tourist offer and countries of tourist demand has already been surpassed considering that many countries of tourist demand (USA, Germany, Great Britain …) earn much more from tourism than the countries of tourist offer (Italy, Greece, Portugal …). The changes in customers' behaviour are reflected through restructuring of tourist movements towards new destinations. What is essential in creating, promoting and marketing tourist destinations for the specific tourism forms development is the identification of all the positive and negative factors that influence the development of these destinations. Converting a potential into a tourist destination depends on many factors both in qualitative and in quantitative sense. Discovering an area of preserved environment that also possesses attractive motifs presents the beginning of the possible tourist destination creating. Further 'destiny' of a tourist destination depends on its planning and development intensity. Rural tourism is a significant component of integral and sustainable development and revitalization of the village, as well as a component that is missing in stimulating the local market development for agricultural and non-agricultural activities in the country, along with a special stimulation to employment. Serbia possesses remarkable natural resources and other potentials for the development of all forms of rural tourism. However, rural tourism in Serbia is an insufficiently organized field that is not being developed adequately to the possibilities available to it.That is why this paper wants to point out the potential opportunities for the development of rural tourism in Serbia through sustainable development and correct performance policy on both national and international tourist market.

Influences of modern technologies on tourism development and its forms are numerous and strong. This is reflected not only through the reservation systems and distribution channels, which are among the first to use the opportunities of modern technology in tourism industry, but also through increasingly stronger presence of ICT in different aspects of the tourism industry and tourists' behavior. This paper focuses on the impacts of ICT on the formation of new relations and emergence of new phenomena in the tourism market, changes in the tourism industry as well as changes in the tourists' behavior and decision-making process. Networking is a word that will designate the development of tourism and tourist destinations in the coming period. Thus, in this paper, special emphasis will be put on interrelations of information, technology, tourism and people (tourists) in any place at any time.

Thus, in this paper, special emphasis will be put on interrelations of information, technology, tourism and people (tourists) in any place at any time.

trends at the global level. Certain types of tourist movements start up and develop; they have been present,
but not sufficiently studied by authors. They also include a short trip or visit to a particular destination.
Considering their characteristics, they do not require a lot of money and they make an increasingly important
segment of the tourism market. Therefore, the importance of same-day trips should not be neglected on
today's tourism market. Although in practice this part of the tourist offers and demand has not often been
attached enough importance, same day trip can achieve a very significant inflow of funds and encourage the
development of many potential tourist destinations. For all the reasons mentioned above, and because of its
importance, the organization of same day-trips should be the fundamental basis and essential focus for
tourism development. Taking into consideration that inbound tourist agencies show special interest for sameday
trips, we have tried to give a starting point for further research in this part of the tourism market.

Amalgam of peoples creates a completely different cultural environment from the everyday which is the maximum power of tourism as an economic activity. The interaction of peoples, cultures, customs, habits, and the inclusion of space and economy in meeting the needs of tourism development are the basis for all destinations that wish to deal with tourism. Global trends affect the overall business operations of a national hotel company. We should not try to avoid that, but to affect the synergy of the national hotel company, domestic economy and new technologies systematically in order to equip and adjust business operations to world tourism trends. Countries that want to be equal in the world tourism market must keep track of these trends and even prevent some of the new ones. Planning at the macro-and micro-economic level is an inevitable path towards a successful business in the tourism industry.

The results also revealed that sacral monuments of minority confessions are often neglected in the curricula. Students believe they can learn more about sacral monuments through travel and practice rather than through lectures.

Interrelationships between tourist attractions, development and deployment of tourist infrastruct... more Interrelationships between tourist attractions, development and deployment of tourist infrastructure in tourist destination and number of tourist arrivals more often emphasized but it happens that these relations are neglected in some tourist infra and superstructure projects
realization. In order to gain economic benefit from hotel investments investors usually chose locations inside already occupied zones by their competitors and neglect free spaces. This paper focuses on interrelationships between number and spatial distribution of hotels in Belgrade and number and spatial distribution of tourist arrivals. This analysis should point on benefits of more equal spatial distribution of hotels on arrivals in some Belgrade municipalities. More equal distribution should be based on existence of factors which are necessary to enhance number of stays and visits in hotels and it should stress that these factors are often ignored and because of that there is absence of correct assessment of economic and tourist potentials of
possible hotel locations.

The emergence of new forms of demand was also a precondition for the creation of various forms of travel as opposed to the then existing “classic forms”. At the turn of the century, waterways became especially interesting for tourism development. Once the backbones of transport power of the big industrial countries, today waterways are unstoppable encouragement for tourism development in many countries. Rivers are a very powerful tourism motive. The density and number of waterways in our country, especially in Vojvodina, offer great opportunities for river traffic and river tourism development. Their distribution provides favourable conditions for river traffic development, especially in transportation on the Danube, which plays an important role in connecting Central and Eastern Europe. These advantages have not been sufficiently used which shows not only
the underdevelopment of river transport in our country, but also the slow development of tourism on water. Today, there are almost no facilities for tourism vessels on our rivers, despite the exceptional opportunities that our natural and anthropogenic resources provide. The Danube Region is the most interesting aquatic transversal of various tourism forms development. Today, when all countries in the Danube Basin are willing to cooperate and to create new forms of cooperation through tourism, we unfortunately cannot offer them a lot, not because we do not have anything to offer, but because we do not know how we do want or not want to do so. Taking into consideration the previous tourism development in our part of the Danube Basin, the authors of this paper will attempt to give some suggestions on how and what should be developed in the Danube Region, how to cooperate and who to include,
so that Serbia could also get in line with the developed tourist countries in the region.
