To apply appropriate multicriteria methods it is necessary to have software support. The paper presents the universal multicriteria decision support system IZAR. The main component of the system IZAR is an expert system helping the user with choosing the most suitable method for available information about the problem. IZAR not only suggests the most suitable method, but it also applies it immediately to the problem being solved. By means of properly formulated questions the expert system selects the right procedure for solving the problem, taking into account its peculiarities regarding entries and additional information which can be assigned to the system by the user. An appropriate classification of multicriteria models and methods is needed because of universality of the system. The system solves discrete and continuous problems. We choose a set of particular shares funds for potential investment. An investor sets several criteria evaluating the investment alternatives. The investment decision making process includes some uncertainties, namely vague decision maker (DM) preferences or random elements. The decision making procedure is divided into two steps. Firstly, the extensive sets of shares funds are cut down in order to choose a few funds for the final investment portfolio. To select the funds, the fuzzy ELECTRE I approach is applied. This approach is able to accept vague information about criteria values or weights of criteria via fuzzy numbers. To make the final portfolio, an interactive multiple objective programming method is proposed. This method takes into account fuzzy DM preferences and allows for collaboration in the process of portfolio making. In the end both methods are applied to create the investment portfolio of shares funds under uncertainty and the results are discussed.

To apply appropriate multicriteria methods it is necessary to have software support. The paper presents the universal multicriteria decision support system IZAR. Basic models for multiattribute evaluation and multiobjective optimization problems are included. Methods for multiattribute evaluation problems are classified by means of types of preference information and by calculation principles. Preference information is given as aspiration levels, ordinal information, and cardinal information. Basic calculation principles are utility maximization, minimization of distance from the ideal alternative, and evaluation by preference relation. Methods for multiobjective optimization problems are classified by means of types of user information, as a priori information, a posteriori information, and progressive information. The system is available on web pages for all interested users and it can be also distributed on CD for users without Internet connection.

K tomu je možné použít různé metody teorie rozhodování, zejména metody vícekriteriální analýzy, lineární programování, metody týmového expertního výběru a další. Klíčová slova: vícekriteriální hodnocení investic, ANP, DEMATEL, lineární programování, kritéria Poděkování Výzkumný projekt byl podpořen grantem č 13-07350S Grantové agentury České republiky.

The original structure of network systems can be modelled as complex adaptive systems and use agent-oriented simulation to demonstrate origin. The structure is clarified by expert opinion with use of DEMATEL method. The suitability of supply networks can be measured by multiple objectives, such as economic, environmental, social, and others. Traditional concepts of optimality focus on valuation of already given systems. We propose to use a methodology for optimal system design. As a methodology of optimal system design can be employed De Novo Multi-objective Linear Programming for reshaping feasible sets in linear systems.

Revenue management is the process of understanding, anticipating and influencing consumer behaviour in order to maximize revenue. The challenge is to sell the right resources to the right customer, at the right time, at the right price, through the right channel. Revenue management will evolve to a more strategic approach that accounts for all revenue streams. In order to truly maximize revenue in a coherent and effective way over the long term, revenue managers must move beyond short-term tactics to embrace long-term strategic planning. Revenue managers who recognize and apply the full arsenal of strategic revenue management are able to handle any challenges offered by a dynamic marketplace. The integration of tactical and strategic revenue management helps the management generate demand with proven marketing measures. Network revenue management models attempt to maximize revenue when customers buy bundles of multiple...

Two scenarios for achieving environmental targets (required status of the lake water) were formulated by specialists, together with an assessment of the investment and operating costs of the projects. The optimal solution (investment program) for 41 pollutermunicipalities, where 166 coalitions can be considered (41 individual and 125 joint wastewater treatment plants), was computed. The results suggest that the modelling method presented in this paper has the potential to increase the role of economic considerations in the early stages of planning and decision-making about water treatment programs. In this case, more than 20% of the costs could be saved when selected joint wastewater treatment plants are realized. The approach has the potential to contribute to increasing costeffectiveness of allocation of financial sources from national and European Union sources.
