Accommodating multiple users within the limited available bandwidth and providing the same Qualit... more Accommodating multiple users within the limited available bandwidth and providing the same Quality of Service (QoS) to all the users is a challenging task. Channel capacity can be increased by using the Spatial Division Multiple Access (SDMA) technique. Smart Antenna Systems are used to implement the SDMA technique in Real-Time and it also helps in finding the high-resolution Direction of Arrival (DoA) detection of the desired mobile users. In this paper novel Gaussian Triangular Factor (GTF) method is proposed for the detection of the desired mobile users from the 3-D spatial domain. This method is based on vector subspaces, which perform the triangular decomposition of the entire Eigenspace into the Lower Element Factor (LEF) and Upper Element Factor (UEF). These are then supplied for the computation of the power spectrum where peaks represent the detected locations of the desired mobile users in the 3-D spatial field. The proposed method was able to detect all the desired users, which were spaced nearer or far apart spatially, it provided high-quality detection regardless of the number of antenna elements used at the Base Station (BS). The GTF Method was able to detect all the desired users under the presence of heavy noise, fading, and interference. It was able to suppress the side lobes, back lobes, and grating lobes thus immensely improving the detection quality, detection range, system power consumption, detection efficiency, and effectiveness. The proposed GTF method was compared with several existing methods and it provided the best results for different performance parameters like Detection Error, Resolution, Time Complexity, and Disturbance Error.

The card transactions have become increasingly omnipresent and so have the dangers to cyber crime. Three major attacks that we go through with the usage of ATM cards is skimming devices, shoulder surfing and fake keyboard. A common problem associated with cyber crime and the blocking of ATM cards is the long and tiring interactions with the company customer services. In this project we are using a three level of authentication factor employing CAPTCHA, Dash Matrix Algorithm and One-time password. There is a NFC card with all the bank details of the customer. With the help of NFC tag in the ATM machine all the information in the tag is identified by the system. Then the data is encrypted and finally a OTP is sent to the mobile of the customer in order to undergo any transactions. This proposed system, therefore, ensures both secure usage of ATM cards and cost effectiveness by utilising a common and user friendly technology.

Moreover, some of the SAARC countries are at the lowest level in the scale. Keeping this into consideration, this paper just tries to bring out the miniature reasons for some of these countries to lag along with the so far development in GSM technology that has taken place in these 8 SAARC countries. This paper covers the up to date information about the GSM technology since the day of its birth in the SAARC countries which are: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. Moreover, this paper has also tried to address the so far challenges being faced in the sector of GSM technology development in these countries along with the prominent steps that were wisely taken to eliminate them. Every technique can only represent a limited number of users and are prone to errors. Hence, the intention is to combine two modulation techniques: M-ary amplitude modulation technique and the phase-shift keying method such that the number of users can be as many as the product of that which could be accommodated by the modulation techniques each used individually. Wireless energy harvesting happens to be a promising technique for the future. Our scheme is applied to a previously suggested Wireless energy harvesting scheme.

A unique approach to the smart device is the use of low-cost wireless sensors for machine condition measurement. Smartphones may be used as the computational platform that acquires motor parameters from wireless sensors using a compatible local communication. Considering the widespread use of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) in smartphones, a BLE enabled sensor network was selected for this study. An experimental setup was created to emulate the industrial environment and evaluate the performance of the communication infrastructure for successful deployment of intelligent condition monitoring. The network performance measurements were carried out to assess the BLE performance with several AC and DC machines operated using different loads in a laboratory with many structural obstructions. Also, an optimal placement of a wireless gateway was explored.

This paper provides an overview of how the sound of various musical instruments can be generated on a single system using an ARM Microcontroller and a simple binary weighted resistor DAC. This work is based on ARM Cortex - M4F Microcontroller which has low power consumption and is economical.

With advances in technology, and in particular, the various sensors to measure different parameters such as temperature, gases, humidity etc. have become more viable and affordable. Upcoming IoT architectures and wireless sensor networks allow real time remote monitoring and analysis of a system as well as the possibility to take immediate remedial actions if necessary. In order to incorporate all these features and understand the feasibility of the system, in our present work, we have developed a prototype consisting of a sensor network to measure and analyze temperature, humidity and carbon-monoxide gas levels. This work provides an overview of the development of an IoT based cold storage monitoring system.

In this paper, communication strategy of dynamic data transmission from a sensor to the cloud sto... more In this paper, communication strategy of dynamic data transmission from a sensor to the cloud storage is discussed. Simulation will be done in arduino platform and net connectivity will be done through GSM module interfacing. The work was inspired by the idea of the approach on Internet of things and to develop a solution to minimize the excessive power usage and thereby minimizing the power consumption cost. Solution is been proposed for monitoring the power utilization. The solution can be collaborated in transmission of any sensor data. Currently, in this implementation, dynamic data is being received by Arduino from a delphino DSP, and GSM module is used as the gateway to transmit the data into cloud storage. This data in cloud storage is been analysed using user interfaces and thus excessive power consumption can be monitored. Brief overview of the proposed solution at the stage of communication is also discussed.

The development of the CAN bus protocol resulted in the reduction of wiring harness which was one of the main concerns of the analogue interface. The fault tolerance and error handling capability of CAN is used in suspension systems, ABS, air conditioning, airbags, central locking systems and gear control systems with high transmission speed. Single-scale Retinex (SSR) was defined as an implementation of center/surround Retinex. Superposition of weighted different scale SSR balances both dynamic range compression and tonal rendition, which is Multiscale Retinex (MSR). This reduces the complexity of the embedded system in vehicles and eases the ECU integration by reducing the total number of ECUs in the vehicles.

With advances in technology, and in particular, the various sensors to measure different parameters such as temperature, gases, humidity etc. have become more viable and affordable. Upcoming IoT architectures and wireless sensor networks allow real time remote monitoring and analysis of a system as well as the possibility to take immediate remedial actions if necessary. In order to incorporate all these features and understand the feasibility of the system, in our present work, we have developed a prototype consisting of a sensor network to measure and analyze temperature, humidity and carbon-monoxide gas levels. This work provides an overview of the development of an IoT based cold storage monitoring system.

Simulation will be done in arduino platform and net connectivity will be done through GSM module interfacing. The work was inspired by the idea of the approach on Internet of things and to develop a solution to minimize the excessive power usage and thereby minimizing the power consumption cost. Solution is been proposed for monitoring the power utilization. The solution can be collaborated in transmission of any sensor data. Currently, in this implementation, dynamic data is being received by Arduino from a delphino DSP, and GSM module is used as the gateway to transmit the data into cloud storage. This data in cloud storage is been analysed using user interfaces and thus excessive power consumption can be monitored. Brief overview of the proposed solution at the stage of communication is also discussed.
