this weekend in law and order reruns! [Sun, January 22nd, 2006 @ 3:06AM]
i was back home this weekend and managed to catch multiple episodes of multiple law and order series. it was pretty awesome. i saw 2 episodes of criminal intent and 1 episode of trial by jury i'd never seen before. i also saw 2 svu's i'd seen and bits of one i hadn't. oddly, no regular law and order figured in. the one CI was disappointing as it was an entirely mike logan and what's-her-face case. the other, though, was brilliant. it was one of multiple episodes featuring goren's arch-nemesis, nicole wallace. i really do love the idea of an arch-nemesis. as a result of goren's advice, she actually did the right thing for once, which was awesome. the goren/wallace relationship is so well done and so interesting. apparently when that episode first aired, nbc allowed people to vote on whether nicole would be caught for good or whether she could go free so that she and goren could face off again later. the audience chose rightly in letting her go. i can't wait for the next installment.the svu's were as follows: a rich guy is found strangled wearing an s&m costume with a banana (which he is allergic to) up his ass; a pregnant girl and her boyfriend kill her fetus because a crooked clinic won't allow them to get an abortion; the "is this how you like it" rapist rapes harper anderson (he appears later on, and harper helps out with their investigation).the trial by jury apparently never got to air in primetime. a guy seemed to have saved a girl's life by killing her attacker, but there is more to the case (i won't ruin it in case you end up seeing it sometime). incidentally, the remixed theme song that is used for trial by jury is horrendously bad and features some awful staccato keyboard trumpets that have to be heard to be understood.don't know why i'm bringing it up other than i'm sort of really excited about having caught all these in one night! and this community is here for spazzing! and what's great is that there's even more criminal intent tomorrow (which is now today, i guess!)!!

Oh my god this isn't that great of an episode, as I recall, but sjkdhaskhdaskjhd LENNIE BRISCOE AND JOHN MUNCH! Lennie just really brightens up the episode, I swear.P.S. For any of you who watched the Golden Globes, how jamazin' was S. Epathata's win/speech?! And how awesome is Jesse L. Martin?
