redball.gif Bibliography redball.gifSelectionredball.gifCommentaryredball.gif Buy a Book redball.gif Writers On-Line Born in Ames, Iowa, in 1939, TED KOOSER is one of Nebraska's most highly regarded poets, the author of nine collections of poetry, including Sure Signs (Pittsburgh, 1980), One World at a Time (Pittsburh, 1985), Weather Central (Pittsburgh, 1994). His work has appeared in The Kenyon Review, Poetry Northwest, Prairie Schooner, and elsewhere. He is vice-president of Lincoln Benefit Life, an insurance company in Lincoln and has twice been awarded NEA fellowships in poetry. Sure Signs was awarded The Society of Midland Authors Prize for the best book of poetry by a midwestern writer published in 1980. He has also received the Pushcart Prize and the Stanley Kunitz Prize. He is editor and publisher of Windflower Press.
