Coins of 1925 Coins were minted with the seal and words "Year of 15" in Mongolian script. Mongolia was delivered from a oppression of Manzh in 1911 and declared a republic with "Bogd King" and began to use new calendar in accordance with. Since 1911 had been passed 15 years or by the modern calendar it was 1925. Coins were minted in the USSR (former name) and withdrew from circulation officially in 1970, in fact in 1950. Abbreviation of words "Mongolian People's Republic" and the seal were minted in Cyrillic script. For the first time, coins of 1, 2, 5 mungo were minted with a hole in the centre. Coins were minted in the People's Republic of China and withdrew from circulation in 1990.
