Kurtz's Mill Bridge (original) (raw)
Kurtz's Mill Bridge originally crossed the Conestoga River about 15 miles away from its present site, but was swept away by Hurricane Agnes, along with so many other Lancaster County Bridges in 1972. It was moved and now crosses Mill Creek in Lancaster County Park. It is a pretty, very typical Lancaster County covered bridge. If you are visiting Lancaster City and can only take time to see one bridge, there could be none better. This bridge, too, may come close to the record for having a lot of names!!
