Anne Foy - CBBC Presenter, who can be seen on BBC1, BBC2 and the CBBC Channel (original) (raw)
Anne was born in Worksop in 1986. As she grew up, it was clear she was destined for showbusiness: She was regularly spotted in town wearing wellies dancing along to ABBA’S EuroVision hit, “Waterloo”, and became famous for making a pizza shaped like her geography teacher Mr Brown. On dull days working in the village shop at the weekend, Anne kept everyone entertained by using the price-gun to price-tag her forehead. Apparently, she cost only 59p, but there was no doubt that this girls comic talents were priceless.
Spotted by a CBBC Producer in 2001, Anne hit our screens in hidden-camera show, “Stitch up”. In between causing Mayhem on the streets and dressing in a series of ridiculous costumes, Anne also starred in CBBC’s sitcom “Bad Penny” playing the lead role. It wasn’t long before CBBC asked her to guest-present their summer location tour in 2003, with Anne becoming a full-time face on CBBC in early 2004.
Watch out for Anne's brand new CBBC Channel weekends starring her very own doggy friend Elliot!
