As a Junior (2006): Became UConn’s 10th NSCAA First Team All-American honoree ... Also named to First Team All-Northeast and BIG EAST Teams ... Collected BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year accolades for the second consecutive year ... Named to M.A.C. Hermann Trophy candidate list for second-straight season, finishing as a semifinalist in 2006 ... Played and started in all 19 games at center back ... Scored two goals, including the game-winning tally at Marquette (10/19) ... Also scored the team’s lone goal in the Huskies’ NCAA Tournament loss to Fairfield (11/11) ... Played 1,728 minutes on the season, averaging 91 minutes per contest - the second-most of any field player.
