Honestly, I don't know how to start this game review! Why? Well, to talk about this excellent shooter from Masaya without engage in polemics is quite a task... but let's go! Cho Aniki (or Super Big Brothers) is a beautiful horizontal shooter, with a strong homosexual appeal... yeah, you read well, it's not a mistake! Though it's not a porn game, Cho Aniki is plenty of scenes with posing muscle men. In this game, you can play with a male (Ideran) or female (Benran) character.

	To constrain Cho Aniki on its sexual aspects would be unfair. In fact, this is certainly one of the weirdest games ever produced! An overdose of surrealistic images, with pieces of chess flying on outer space, bizarre human and non-human beings, awkward musics: it's hard to believe that Masaya crew did this game in all conscience! They must have used, at least, a little bit of LSD! :)

All those features makes of Cho Aniki an special game. Its graphics are, undoubtedly, among the most spectaculars ever made for a PC-ENGINE game, plenty of details and incredibly well colored. Though it's not an easy game, Cho Aniki always keeps interest on high levels with its impecable gameplay and, of course, with a breathtaking sequence of bizarre events! The soundtrack is very, very odd, but fits well on the game mood.

Polemics apart, this is one of the best PC-ENGINE games. An outstanding shooter that is usually set aside by most people, because of sexual prejudice. It's a shame, for Cho Aniki can certainly be considered as a little masterpiece.
