U.S. National Teams: Made a late run to make the World Championship roster after training with the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team for the first time in May of 2006 … One five players to make the World Championship roster after not participating in CONCACAF Qualifying … The youngest player on the World Championship roster … Played with the U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team in 2005 … Played with the U.S. U-16 Girl’s National Team in 2004 and 2005 … Also participated in the U.S. Under-14 Identification Camp.
High School: Spent her freshman year at Cedarburg High School in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, before moving to Raleigh, N.C. and attended Broughton High School as a sophomore and junior … Graduated from high school a year early in June of 2006 to attend North Carolina … An All-State selection at Cedarburg and she was the Gatorade High School Player of the Year as a freshman … Also her Conference Player of the Year as a freshman … Was the North Carolina Gatorade Player of the Year in 2005 as well as a Parade and NSCAA All-American … Helped lead Broughton to state titles as a sophomore and junior and was MVP of the state tournament both years.
