DUBLIN (Dow Jones)--Troubled Irish drinks group C&C; Group PLC (CCR.DB) said Thursday it's buying businesses of Anheuser-Busch InBev in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland for GBP180 million, and reaffirmed full-year financial guidance.
The acquisition includes Tennents Lager, Scotland's leading lager brand where it accounts for 55% of volumes of lager sold on premises at pubs and restaurants in Scotland and around 30% of the Scottish off-trade market, C&C; said.
It also gives C&C; an on-trade loan book of GBP27 million and distribution rights to certain Anheuser-Busch InBev brands in Ireland, Northern Ireland and ...
