Research Interests: Dr. Kuhl's research focuses on the characterization of local cerebral circulatory and biochemical processes in health and disease using positron emission tomography (PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). These approaches to in vivo biochemical imaging are applied in efforts to accomplish earlier diagnosis in patients with cerebral disorders such as Alzheimer's disease or Parkinson's disease.
