• David Lammy is the Member of Parliament for Tottenham. He was horrified at the outbreak of violence and rioting in his constituency in August 2011 - especially as this was the second time in 25 years that Tottenham has been the scene of disturbances of this kind. David points out that Tottenham is the most ethnically diverse postcode in Britain, and maybe the world - and he draws some hope in the positive response of the the community to the riots.
