What will happen to my in-game purchases?

Yahoo Games is a site that allows third party game publishers to make games available to users. Yahoo will continue to make the site available for these game publishers to offer their games to you and to allow you to use your in-game purchases until Friday, May 13, 2016.

How can I transfer my in-game purchases?

You should seek information from the game publisher of the games in which you have made in-game purchases to see what options they have for transferring your in-game purchases. We have reached out to game publishers and asked them to develop a transition plan for players in the coming days.

What changes are happening to Yahoo Games?

Yahoo will continue to make the Yahoo Games site available for game publishers to offer their games to you until Friday, May 13, 2016. Commencing March 14, 2016, you will no longer be able to make any in-game purchases on the Yahoo Games site.

Will my Yahoo login change?

There will be no changes to your Yahoo login.

How will my data be handled?

There will be no transfer of your personal information by Yahoo in connection with the discontinuance of Yahoo Games. Please see Yahoo's privacy policy for more information. When you play games on Yahoo Games, the relationship is between you and the developer, and the game developer's privacy policies also applies.
