HRH Princess Sarvath in Bath (original) (raw)
We would like to congratulate HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees, for receiving an honorary doctorate in education from the University of Bath, UK. HRH was presented with her honorary doctorate from HRH Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex and Chancellor of the University of Bath.
HRH Princess Sarvath El Hassan received an honorary degree of Doctor of Education to mark HRH’s achievements as a longstanding and influential supporter of inspiring young people. In his speech at the University’s Summer awards ceremony, Professor Colin Grant said that Princess Sarvath “represents a pioneering force in education, the influence of which has transformed the opportunities available for young people within Jordan and throughout the region.” This is very true indeed.
Two of our ABS graduates, Zein Lozi (Class of 2011) and Rand Al Taher (Class of 2012) were among the graduates of the University of Bath (Class of 2015) and who witnessed Her Royal Highness receive this award.
We are so very proud of Her Royal Highness for this great accomplishment. This is indeed a prestigious achievement coming from a firmly established top university worldwide with an international reputation for research and teaching excellence.
Congratulations Your Royal Highness!
