NEW YORK, May 3, 2015—PIX11, Tribune Broadcasting’s New York flagship station, was awarded 15 Emmy® Awards at the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ 58th Annual Award presentation Saturday night in Manhattan at the Marriott Marquis Times Square. This year, PIX11 was nominated for 62 Emmy® Awards, the most nominations garnered in a single year in in the station’s history. To date, PIX11 has won nearly 300 Emmy® Awards.
“PIX11 is relentlessly focused on serving our audience with meaningful news and information with an emotional quotient. I’m proud of our entire news team for being recognized and honored for its work serving the community,” said Rich Graziano, President/GM, PIX11.
The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ 58th Annual New York Emmy® Awards honor outstanding achievement in the television industry during the eligibility period of September 1, 2013 through August 31, 2014.
