| Ok, guys. My name is Sonya and I'm new. This is a strange community, but I like it. Soez, I'm Canadian, white-washed, but totally brown at the same time. I'm in between the ages of 15 and 16.I'm sadly obsessed with Bollywood and other things of likely nature. I dance but I don't take any professional training, I just kinda invent dance styles. BUT IM ACTUALLY A LOT BETTER THAN I SOUND!I make lots and lots of brown jokes and I have an imaginary boyfriend named bupinder.So you think you can dance is my favourite show. | I'm at work and not feeling to do work, so I decided to join livejournal communities instead. I'm 24, recently moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia from Toronto...I like nature and environmental biology stuff (coz that's what I majored in), but I also like anti-racism and social justice issues (coz that's the field I'm working in). I was born and raised in Trinidad, West Indies. Living in Canada for seven'ish years. I like Bollywood (but not the new, "trendy" Neal 'N' Nikki-Hey-let's-be-cool-like-America! stuff [Kal Ho Na Ho got lucky because of the {eventually} catchy songs and attempts at homoerotic scenes]), Indian classical music, singing, bike rides (even during Canadian winters), hiking, weed, yelling at commercials on TV, yelling at stupid and oppressive people (and then running away), drag, dancing, and trying to make friends. If you want to be friends say Hi and add me to your list or something. I'm actually pretty cool. | |

| so some of my friends made a video the other day found herehttp://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4950921913746073327&q=Raj+Rawali know 3 of the guys (actually 5 if you count the producer-tim and raj (who is also the myserious big man) and the others are Connor (the officer), Mike (Butch), and Owen (the president who loves the US of A)my favorite part is owen's when he comes at around the 6 minute timer. its a good movie so id recomment people to watch it. its created my 10th graders so enjoy! | |
