Ninja Techniques - The Basics That All Ninja Should Know & Special Techniques for Hunter-nins/ANBUs (original) (raw)
These are the basic techniques that all ninja have to know before they can graduate from the academy.
Nawanuke no Jutsu (Rope Escape Technique)
When a ninja is tied with rope, he can undo the knots and escape using this technique.
Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)
Bunshin no Jutsu creates a clone of the user, which can be used to create a diversion or cause confusion. These clones will disappear in a puff of smoke if hit, they aren't real, and cannot do any damage.
Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
The user assumes the appearance of another person, an animal or even any object.
Kakuremino no Jutsu (Cloak of Invisibility Technique)
With this jutsu one uses a cloak or piece of cloth to make oneself blend in with the background, rendering oneself invisible.
Kawarimi no Jutsu or Utsusemi no Jutsu (Body Replacement Technique)
The user quickly replaces themselves with another object, such as a plant or an animal (usually a section of log). This usually confuses the attacker and leaves them open to a counter-attack.
ANBU and Hunter-nins have special techniques available to them.
Kanashibari no Jutsu (Temporary Paralysis Technique)
This technique is used to cause one's opponent to lose the advantage of
movement. Freezing them in their tracks, this Jutsu creates an opening for a
more dangerous attack.
Jigyaku no Jutsu (Time Reversal Technique)
An ANBU can put someone in a state of reverse hypnosis, allowing them to remember details that they otherwise would not.
Carrion Crow Summoning
Hunter-nin will summon wild carrion crows to devour the corpse of the ninja they have killed, in order to protect village secrets that the body will hold.
