Just found this community, so I thought I'd introduce myself. :)
I've done some kayaking here and there, but I haven't had a chance to really get into it. I just moved to Charlottesville, VA though and have a great deal more access to places to paddle than I did before. I'm hoping to really get into it this spring and summer. I have a solid roll with or wihtout a paddle and want a chance to use it! :)
I'm looking to get a used boat and am wondering if anyone has any recomendations. I've paddled an RPM a bazillion times before and it fit me pretty well, but I'd like some suggestions of others to try. Especially lighter ones that play a bit better. I'm a small person, so 40 pounds is a lot to lug around. I'm a beginner for the most part though so I don't want to get one that is too difficult to control either...
