All simple sidebar content gone (original) (raw)

• Hi. All my customised simple sidebars have disappeared. I updated WordPress and a different plugin and got a few errors. But then the sidebars have gone. They show up in WordPress dashboard but are empty.
  Where is the content for the simple sidebars kept? I’d assumed in the WordPress database – but restoring the databases does not return them.

• All the content is stored in the database with the theme-defined widget areas. Are you sure you’re using this plugin (there are a few with similar names)?
  Ahh sorry. Yes I might be in the wrong place. It’s simple sidebars, part of Genesis. Feel free to delete this.
