(thanks to burn_so_pretty for reminding me about this community!)

Was round at thiss fella's house last week.

Barry Nicholson, who played for Rangers, Dunfermline, and now plays for Aberdeen. Although only playin for Aberdeen, i was kinda scared to sit on the lads sofa, or look for a mug in the kitchen to get masel a cup of tea!!

Had a discussion wi zander_1986 the other day, and i came to the conclusion that his various awards (SPL Player of the month, Tennents Scottish cup final awards, Scotland cap (singular!!) etc etc) would only fill about 2 carrier bags. But still, he played with some of the Rangers greats!

Anyone been to the house of anyone more famous?! :oD

burn_so_pretty: Introductory post...

This community needs reviving...so here I am.

I'm 20, female and from southwest Scotland. I'm a loyal Kilmarnock fan, I have a season ticket and go every weekend. Am of the opinion that Jim Jefferies is the best manager in the SPL and violently dislike all things Old Firm. Rangers and Celtic, keep yer mitts aff Naismith!

Oh aye, and Walter Smith is a Judas bastard.

That's about it.

Not updated here for ages..i guess there has just been far too much to keep me occupied, what with 3 games a day during June, fabulous weather and exams all out the way :oD

A few observations on the tournament though.

  1. After half time in the stadiums when the camera gives a wide picture of the pitch and opposite stand, there are hundreds of empty seats where the "suits" are away troughing into prawn sandwiches and beer. Who let them in? If you dont want to watch the game...get out.

  2. Why do players not sing their national anthem? If that was me, id sing as loud and long as i possibly could. I dont think id ever have a prouder moment than singing my national anthem before a world cup match for my country

  3. The german squad still annoy me more than ever; cold, wooden, emotionless and starey-eyed who were cleary playing a different game from the one i watched! "it was our game. Germany deserved to win it" sayd one if the players in a post match interview. Ok, whatever you say. I thought the Italians show much more passion and determination to get there in the end. Grow up and stop sulking germany.

  1. And the one that annoys me most. Diving never used to be a part of the game. The players a such a bunch of pansies these days. Whingeing big girls.

Uch well. Thats about all that was bothering me.

Hi,

I'm newbie in the community and I have one question about The Germany World Cup 2006.

Always at this end of a match, we can hear in the stadium, one song... And my question is what is the title of this song ?

Please, thanks in advance.

Take Care,

[EDIT] I think I found the song : Go West by Pet Shop Boy ... Maybe there is several version, I don't know.

Following zander_1986, does anyone think that the Ronaldinho video is a fake??
Not sure??

Well watch this video and make up you're own mind. The player is wearing a chelsea strip, but im not sure what the (empty) stadium is.

Note: Watch the way that the ball rebounds off the bad the second time ...thats what gives it away. The ball seems to almost wobble in mid-air.
Interesting aint it!!
