Global Issues Evenings

2021 Nobel Peace Prize Recipient Maria Ressa
Free and open to the public, this series features evening programs delivered by prominent speakers on a range of international issues, followed by a Q&A period. All events are co-hosted with the Distinguished Voices Lecture series and held at the University of North Florida. Premier-level members and sponsors enjoy a private reception with the speaker prior to the program and may access the simulcast suite to view the live stream presentation in a relaxed setting with food and beverage service.
Global Business Luncheons
Designed specifically for the business community and co-hosted by and held at The River Club, this series of luncheon speakers offers invaluable insights into international economic, business, and technology trends.
Leading EDGE Dialogues
Hosted by Council EDGE, our young professional group, Leading EDGE Dialogues integrate social gatherings with expert discussions to keep our members on the cutting edge of global issues that impact today and tomorrow. These evening dialogues feature a reception for networking followed by a presentation and dialogue.
Special Engagements
Education and entertainment meet when the Council hosts smaller, more intimate gatherings that provide timely presentations and spirited dialogue as well as opportunities to explore international issues in new, creative ways.
