Bill and I are looking for a predominately Gay Horde guild to play the new Beta release of WoW, Cataclysm . We still have friends that we play with on Alliance side but we are looking for Red Banner goodness as well.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to throw our hats.

hello to rogues out there Question for all the rogues out there.
I want to start running dungeons with my guy now that he has some rep gear and is almost all in blues

-right now am using the hit buff food till i get him close to capped.
Question on combat rotation. i know fan of knives is used during the run outside of a boss fight. My question is how much? is it just use all energy for it and rely on your auto attack/poisons during the energy regen.
or is it start with sinister srike to get a combo pt to proc the haste with slice n dice. Then do fan of knives while SnD is up so i get more auto attacks in?
i know rogues use it but am not sure how often in a fight since it costs half your energy. Other question is offhand weapon, right now i have a fast sword with the stacking poison (1.5 speed) Would it be better to use a slightly slower weapon higher then 1.5speed (assuming same or higher DPS)? right now when i fight a trash mob i can get 2-4 stacks on them before they die.
Figure that last part was worth asking since i remember a time combat rogues would run around with maces in both hands.

Does anyone think The Oculus is actually fun?
I'll be honest. I have yet to successfully run the instance. And I really hate encounters and quests that force vehicle mechanics on you, other than rails-type shooters (like the bombing runs in Hellfire at the beginning of TBC). Even when the mechanics have the potential to be interesting, oftentime the sight lines are atrocious (like the various giants in WotLK).
But, wow The Oculus takes the prize. Not only is it an annoying vehicle, but the encounter itself isn't even interesting. It's basically all of the things I dislike about WoW wrapped up in one fun-destroyinng package of awfulness.

seems when i do random pugs you occasionally get a bad egg but am noticing a large amount of people from a certain server, tanks that chain pull more then healer can heal or leave people for dead, DPS pulling mobs ahead of tank telling tank they epic fail if we wipe, and the latest healer informing everyone their DPS was "fucking pathetic because he can do so much better on his other 80's" now my DK is doing 3-4k dmg (mage in group also doing same amount)you know on last boss in FoS you have to stop DPS yet he spent the whole fight criticizing everyone.
normally i dont pay attention to what server you come from but when someone acts like a fucktard 75% of the time its this one server. anyone else having this issue in their random pug battlegroups?

Yup, took work but here it is the legendary sword Quel' Dalar, wielded by my deathknight.
Wasnt so bad, hardest part was running the heroic IC runs till you get the hilt. After that you can Do PoS, FoS, and HoR on normal mode.

Ok let me set this up. Am on my shaman doing HoS for my oh so fun daily. The healer had to afk from baby agro. So i was asked to heal a bit. Yeah an elemental shaman can heal, do i think its a good idea eh not really since i dont have my HoT, reduced mana/casting time, or my regen gear on. Still we did ok, and i healed thru maiden of sorrow. sadly one person died cause i got stunned and they got stunned inside the circle before i could heal them.
DK asked if she could need mace and i said my rule was always if its an upgrade for you roll need. Warlock jumps on me and says to stop trying to be a nice guy since that's everyone's policy on all servers in pugs. Sorry if am trying to reassure someone they dont need to feel guilty rolling need on something.
At the event room, healer is close to dying and i split my time DPS'ing and healing healer and shielding him if he got agro (tank had problem with agro due to lack of rage). When one DPS did die i threw down my second elemental totem to help us from wiping.
While we were running to the last boss, tank said that to me.
i was like a wha? but he didnt respond. lol so am hoping that was a compliment.

lol happy patch day everyone! may you all get on your servers without a 2hour que.
Oh and may your random dungeons all work out for you, am still a skeptic till i try it. My bigger question is if you get a random dungeon you dont like can you say pass and try again or do you find out your random dungeon when you appear in it? Thus making you have to leave the group or something *cough OCCULUS*
Ok and happy farming regular 5 man icecrown lol judging by that loot list hell i'll tank and heal that sucker a few times for whats dropping in just regular!

Argent Tournament just a heads up to any hunter doing the Argent Tournament.
i had major problems today with my hunter, and after screaming (7 losses in a row), cursing (because it was the NPC who ended the fight as a disqualification) and thinking (thanks to a friend telling me to try a diff alt)
I found out my aspect of the viper when active at the time i mount up was nerfing my jousting attacks, and ending the joust 2/3 way thru.
for anyone not doing it, when you mount up all buffs are suspended when you mount up. If they didnt then my DK's horn of winter would have done more physical DMG when i melee'd
instead of 325 DMG against an NPC with 3 shields i only did 195. I tried my aspect that boosts physical dmg but the dmg held steady at 325.
so heads up make sure that aspect isnt active when you mount up. I talked to a GM about it so fingers crossed. Just dont want anyone else going thru what i went thru

yet when i got there with my lv 80 DK alog with 2 shamans, a mage, a hunter, and a lv 77 warlock you werent there to play?
where did you go? my friends wanted to meet you :)

Anyways, for all you WoW heads out there I came across a post in the suggestions forum and thought it was a great idea. The post is regarding a new hero class that was thought up by Agrigor from the Shadow Council realm. Anyways, I am linking his original post for those of you that wish to read thru it.
