We have decided to close membership to this community to new members. As I'm sure many of you have noticed, we have not been updating this page much lately, except for a few announcements. We will not be closing down the community, however, and will still occasionally post important information here.

We strongly encourage you sign up on our web site, http://daughtersofthehorde.enjin.com, for access to our forums and the latest guild information. The password can be found in the guild information tab in-game.

We also have a Facebook page and a Twitter account you can follow!

Just a quick note, but I realized I hadn't informed you guys about a change we've made, albeit a small one, and I wanted to let you all know.

Previously, we've allowed members of DotH, members of DotA who are not in DotH, and men who raided with us to be a part of this LJ community. Since we're no longer requiring LJ to join, anyone currently a part of this community will mostly likely stay there until they remove themselves.

However, after we made our announcement and before I started changing guild notes (still a work in progress!), I removed anyone not actually in the guild.

My reasons are,
- We'd have to do extra work to verify that anyone in DotA that's not in our guild is actually still in DotA.
- We will no longer be setting up raids on the LJ, therefore there is no longer a need for any non-member to have access to the LiveJournal, which will still contain locked, guild-only information.

These changes are minor, and we are slowly but surely moving away from using LJ as our main source of guild information, but we felt we should still let you all know! We hope that no one feels inconvenienced by these decisions.

I will use this opportunity to remind members of DotH to sign up to our forums! Our new web site is daughtersofthehorde.enjin.com. Please see either the GMOTD or the guild information tab in-game to get the password.

Time for roster maintenance!

The following characters will be removed in one week:

As a reminder, we
-Remove Lackeys who have been inactive for one month.
-Remove mains (Devoted Minions) and their alts (Minion Toos) after 1 year of inactivity.

Additionally, we have the Inactive rank available on a request-only basis for those who are taking an extended break from the game and don't want their characters to be removed from the guild. If you would like your characters to be added to the Inactive rank, please either comment on this post or send the officers an e-mail or in-game mail. For Inactive rank guidelines, click here.

You are, of course, more than welcome to rejoin the guild if you've been removed for inactivity. Just /join the wowladies channel in-game and ask for an officer!

Please sign up for raids this weekend! The plan is to do Siege wing 1 and possibly move on to 2, depending on how we get through the first wing.

Flex is tuned for a minimum of 10 players, but can also expand to accommodate more, so don't be shy about signing up! Keep in mind that we may have to limit raid sizes based on the number of healers we have, however. Friends and family are welcome, including those from wow_ladies.

Please try to sign up before Friday, so I can finalize and post rosters. When you sign up, please let me know your character name(s) and role(s), and which day(s) you are available. If you want to bring a character from another server, let me know your battletag and I will add you.

As of right now, we are looking for a minimum ilevel of 496, which is the requirement to get in to Siege LFR. Please be hit/expertise-capped and gemmed/enchanted as needed for your spec. DPS should be able to do between 80-100k dps, due to tight enrage timers on certain fights. If your gear isn't quite there yet, there are items available for Valor Points as well as gear available on the Timeless Isle that can help you reach minimum ilevel.

Last week we wound up doing some LFR together. This week we will hopefully be starting with the first wing of Flex to try and smooth out the encounters, as well as to get people more gear, before we move on to part 2 for more practice at the newer fights.
