I have created this LiveJournal community for those who are concerned about the conduct at Misty Gardens Pet Cemetery just outside of La Salle, Manitoba. As you almost certainly know, there is evidence of serious fraud and misconduct at that facility. I felt that it might be useful for people to have a place where they could gather and discuss their fears and concerns, as well as keep up with the latest news.

As someone who had my pet cremated at Misty Gardens back in March of 2004, I share the distress of many Manitobans who loved their companion animals and are now appalled at the thought that their bodies might have been mistreated by someone who was paid to handle them with dignity and respect. If you are reading this and are one of those people, you have my sincerest condolences. I truly hope that this horrible situation will be sorted out as quickly as possible by those authorities who have the power to tell us what happened, and when, and why.
