Welcome to the Writers Reading Book Club.

We are a group of readers, some of whom happen to also be writers. This group was created as an outlet for writers who didn't think they were reading enough.

Within these walls, you will find both structured and unstructured reading. The group will work through a book at a time together, but there will be plenty of opportunity for members to read and talk about what else they are reading.

Please note, some of the reading material of the group may be adult in nature. I have marked the community as Adult Content. I would ask that there be no members under the age of 14.

The Rules

- NO Flaming. There will be no exceptions to this rule. You will get one warning. Then you will be banned.

- Be respectful. If you have a harsh critique of a book, that's fine. But please remain civil in your discussion.

- Participation is the heart of a book club. Unless you have a moral objection to the group's book, you must participate in one out of three chosen books. You will get one warning, then you will be removed.

- Spoilers for non-group books need to be under an lj-cut and marked. If you are unfamiliar with how to make an lj-cut, here is a quick primer: type <*lj-cut text="Spoilers"*>, just remove the *.

- Take part in all community voting. It effects you.

Membership is moderated, for record-keeping purposes. Everyone will be accepted, if they have completed an application. The application can be found here.
