Dearcookleta_etc(and just the cookleta fandom in general),

When I ventured into this fandom, I had no idea it would affect my life in the best possible way. First of all, no one and I mean no one in my real life understands how I can love someone like David Archuleta to the ends of the world and they don't have a clue about my part-time hobby of writing gay porn. Or even supporting gay porn - or just homosexuality in general. It's left me in a suffocating box for the longest time, hiding my writing from everyone I know because I knew they would never approve and it just...it crippled my self esteem. Writing for the HP fandom helped me fix that, a little, but writing here? For you guys? I'm starting to believe that what I'm doing - writing and just being myself - is worthwhile.

I never believed that I could meet people like you, who understood what I felt, who joined when I flailed and who let me cry just simply because David sang (and knowing that you guys cry too, whenever your favorite does something awesome). I feel so blessed and honored to have met you guys.

You've made me cry, made me laugh, made me flail, made me giggle through the day. You cheered me on when I was down and showered me with Archie things.

Then you showed me love at the LovePost even if I wasn't there...and the things you guys said about me made me cry because no one, no one has ever said those things about me. Not my parents, my boyfriend or my RL friends. Just you guys and I'm just...you guys make me happy to be me.

And I'm so touched that all of you mentioned my Archie stanning as one of the things you find adorable because there are times when I fear that I'm way overboard and should tone it down a little. But you guys get it, don't you?

I am so grateful that I delurked during the APs. It was the best decision I ever made. I've got my muse permanently back (I hope), and I've made friends with some of the most awesome people around the world. We do rewatches and burn through discussion posts in a matter of days and we love and support each other and flail together for all those moments that are made out of UTTER EPIC.

I feel like I'm part of a family, a family full of people who are different yet so alike, who love each other and are not afraid to show it.

So thank you, really, from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys: Kary, Kirsten, Julia, Megan, Molly, Jessica, Lisa, Brandi, Lexee, Kim, Jay, Frack, Inna, Ania, Alec, Melody and to everybody else. Seriously. I often say these words but I also mean them every single time.

So I have discovered the joys of ripping. Yes, I have. I did all of them (though the videos aren't mine so yeah, no credit there) and actually, I downloaded these from someone else but I felt bad sharing what isn't mine so yeah, I ripped the mp3 myself lol. You never know what you'll find in YouTube lol

But actually, some of them? I BEGGED and BEGGED and BEGGED my mom to buy them from iTunes, really. She gave in because it wasn't THAT expensive (even if we had to convert our currency to dollars, sigh) so yay! Even if I'm doing this, you should totally buy them if you can

Dear David Archuleta,

Hi. You don't know me but I know you and you know what, I love you. I'm not trying to be creepy or anything but really, I do. It's like, okay, who is the one person who can make so, so, so happy and does it effortlessly? You do. Even just a picture of you makes me break out into a smile no matter how horrible I feel. You will me with such gladness, with such relief that I do know you, that I didn't succumb to the prejudice against you (and I can't believe there is prejudice against you, it goes to show how goshdarn stupid the world is).

When you sing, okay, when you sing? I legitimately get tears in my eyes. You have such a beautiful voice and I don't understand how it's getting better with time because like, oh my gosh, how can one person sound like that? It's not just the glorious tone of your voice, it's the emotion I feel when you sing and you're just, when I listen to your songs, to your voice? I feel like you're singing them to me and my heart hurts and I end up crying because I'm a girl, a crier and very emotional.

It's just not your voice that makes me stan you so hard, okay, and not just your looks too (BECAUSE OMYHECK HOW ARE YOU SO GOSHDARN PRETTY?! MY BREATH LITERALLY CATCHES AT THE SIGHT OF YOU) but it's the way you've just made my life better. I'm not even kidding. You make it so much better because of you, I've met some of the most wonderful people ever and just, you give me so much hope that the world isn't such a bad place because you're in it. You inspire me to be a better person, a happier person, a nicer person and just, you make me so goshdarn happy it's so ridiculous. How can one boy (a boy who might possibly be an alien or a unicorn), how can you make me feel like everything will be all right when I hear your voice, or hear your life or see your smile or watch you flail and be utterly adorable?

Because David, you own my heart. Like, it's yours, completely and forever, okay? And the weirdest thing is that even though you will never know me, or know how much I love you or how much you've affected my life, I just know you won't break it.
