Luosha Fang Shines with In-Studio Performance - West Virginia Public Broadcasting (original) (raw)

World-renowned violinist Luosha Fang and Maestro Grant Cooper of the WVSO graced us with their presence at our West Virginia Public Broadcasting studios this Thursday with live performances and interviews. Ms. Fang will be joining the WVSO this Saturday performing Jean Sibelius’s Violin Concerto in D minor for an all-Sibelius concert.

In addition to the concerto, the symphony will perform Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2 in D Major, and they will be joined by members of the West Virginia Youth Symphony for a performance of Sibelius’s rousing Finlandia.

The concert is Saturday, April 9th at 8 PM at the Clay Center in Charleston, WV. Tickets and information can be found here.
