Mission
The 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit is a Marine Air-Ground Task Force that provides strategic speed and agility, ensuring our Marines are forward deployed and prepared to respond and protect U.S. national security interests around the globe. The Marine Expeditionary Unit can respond faster from longer ranges with greater capabilities across the range of military operations.

NAPLES, Italy — Marines and Sailors from II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF), led by Col. Ryan Hoyle, commanding officer of 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU), arrived in Naples, Italy as the third iteration of II MEF’s support to Task Force 61 Naval Amphibious Force Europe (TF-61), Jan. 23, 2023.
MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C — Marines and Sailors from 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF) have deployed in support of U.S. Sixth Fleet, Task Force 61 Naval Amphibious Forces Europe (TF-61) to continue the integration of command and control of deployed Navy and Marine Corps amphibious forces.
The Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) commenced bi-lateral theater amphibious combat rehearsal (TACR) training alongside U.S. Marines and Sailors from the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) and Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) in Tabuk, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, June 7.

Lieutenant Colonel Adam Coker
Executive Officer
Lieutenant Colonel Coker is a native of West Columbia, SC. In 1997 he enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves.
Sergeant Major Jared Game
Sergeant Major
Sergeant Major Game enlisted in the Marine Corps December 1996 and reported to Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, California for recruit training in January 1997. Private First Class Game then attended Marine Combat Training at Camp Pendleton, California. He then reported to HMT-302 FREST, New River, North Carolina, where he earned the MOS of 6132 Helicopter Dynamic Component Mechanic.
