Agricultural policies implemented in countries are part of the macroeconomic model applied in the world. Agricultural policies applied in Turkey also depends on the changing economic policies in the world. The neoliberal economic policy that has been implemented in the world after 1971 has been the direct results of Turkey's economy and agricultural policy. This thesis studied agricultural policies applied from the republican period in Turkey until today and impact of the neoliberal policies on Turkey's agriculture which are implemented after 1980's and their implementers such as World Bank, International Monetary Fund. Although neoliberal policies have been implemented as a macroeconomic model in the world, it has been observed that supportive policies are applied in some regions, for example in EU countries, which do not directly correspond to the neoliberal policies. Among these differences in agricultural policies, it is revealed that especially developed countries attach importance to cooperatives in terms of organization in agricultural policies. In this context, this study examines the cooperative models in Turkey and the world in terms of developing agriculture in Turkey.
