The main purpose of this study is to identify the route of entrepreneurial development and their associated emerging opportunities and the formation of essential strategies which are useful in order to achieve the goal. Determining factors influencing rural entrepreneurs success: A case study of Mahidasht township in Kermanshah province of Iran

This exploratory descriptive study examined factors determining the success of rural entrepreneurs in Mahidasht township of Kermanshah province in Iran. The hypothesis is proposed that success of rural entrepreneurs is causally related to innovativeness, need for achievement, lack of bureaucracy, internal locus of control, and marketing opportunities. The study was a census of 70 rural entrepreneurs currently active in agricultural and livestock productions. A valid and reliable instrument was used to collect data. The results revealed that internal factors such as innovativeness, need for achievement, internal locus of control and external factors such as bureaucracy and marketing opportunities accounted for 88% of the shared variance with entrepreneurs' success. Structural equation modeling based on the co variances between the measures yielded an acceptable fit of the proposed model.

The report aims to formulate main theoretical and practical subjects concerning entrepreneurship as recourse for rural areas economical development. Factors that determine rural and agricultural entrepreneurship are analyzed, together with the environment in which it could successfully develop. The report tries to show the main politics in entrepreneurial development. It must be emphasized that stimulating and supporting the entrepreneurial activity of rural areas is of a crucial importance for accelerating the rural areas’ economic development. The report presumes that rural entrepreneurship assumes that the initiative should be local, including individual producers and companies associations. This could improve the new employments and add economic value of the rural areas and also preserving the limited recourses in the community.

RURAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES OF GOVERNMENT:-AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF KEY SUCCESS FACTORS (WITH REFERENCE TO AJMER DISTRICT

Objective:- The paper seeks to understand & find key success factors for effective and successful implementation of government run Rural Entrepreneurship development programmes / schemes. Paper also seeks to identify the level of dependency of two variables i.e. Volatile Government Schemes and Entrepreneur Responsiveness on each other. Methodology/Approach:- A primary data is being collected through Questionnaire distribution. A random sample of 30 respondents/beneficiaries of various government run EDP’s was selected to respond on the questionnaire. A factor Analysis approach and some statistical regression techniques are proposed to be used to analyse the key success factor/factors and level of dependency of Volatile Government Schemes and Entrepreneur Responsiveness on each other. Major Findings:- This study is proposed to find the key success factor (having differing criteria priorities & weight age) like Technical knowhow support, Financial Resources, Education & Training support, Marketing Support, Market Development, Strategic Alliances & Partnership of Government & Private etc., which are to be addressed in the effective implementation process of entrepreneurship development programme. The study also proposes to find the interdependency of Volatile Government Schemes and Entrepreneur Responsiveness for effective strategy formulation. Implications:- Entrepreneurship is one critical key to employment generation & creating economic & social value for our country. An effective formulation and implementation of strategies for entrepreneurial development is essential for all government schemes as it incurs enormous amount of time & money cost of the nation. Therefore, Governments entrusting on Rural Entrepreneurship for all round growth should identify & formulate key success factors so as to ensure the desired objective attainment.

Destruction of Ozone layer, increase of earth temperature and climate changes as a result of GHG (Green-House Gasses) are the most significant concerns of the society these days. Since the gas and oil extractive industries can pollute the environment and there are many oil and gas installation near the residential areas, the expectations have to be attended and the local society should consider the limitations as the most challenging issues. This project has been done from Feb 2014 to June 2014 through questionnaires containing 49 effective factors based on the rules of ISO 26000 standards that have been distributed among top and middle managers. Finally the hypotheses have been evaluated by Pearson test based on the presence of a significant relationship between each of 7 variables and the social responsibility of the considered company and then the variables and their structural performances have been ordered by using Friedman test.

Developing Socio-Economic Entrepreneurship Programs among Rural Villagers in Kuala Terengganu

Most scholars have recognized that entrepreneurship is a mechanism of economic growth for both urban and rural citizen. In fact, it has been accepted as a force of economic growth for rural development, particularly in the East-Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. In addition of developing the rural economy, the Malaysian government has implemented five potential entrepreneurship programs that are capable of developing the socio-economy potential of its citizen which include the marketing of traditional products, the development of agriculture and tourism sectors, the creation of financial benefit scheme, and entrepreneurship training. Fundamentally, these factors are related to the main objectives of the Malaysia government's public policies which include the New Economy Policy, National Development Policy and Vision 2020. The objective of this paper is to explore the interaction between the impact of rural entrepreneurship programs with the development the social-economic of the citizen in Bukit Wan, Kuala Terengganu. Bukit Wan is a small rural area which is located north of Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu Malaysia. The socio-economy resources of Bukit Wan include agricultural products, traditional foods and cultural tourism. The data of study was captured using structured questionnaires involving 51 rural entrepreneurs who run their business in the village. Generally, the results revealed that the entrepreneurship programs are highly correlated to the development of socioeconomic quality of the entrepreneurs. Furthermore, all of the factors in a potential rural entrepreneurship programs are significant toward the development of socio-economy. Therefore, state government can take this finding as guidance as well as to design the rural entrepreneurship programs in developing the socio-economy in rural village.

Promoting Entrepreneurship in Rural Communities

ABSTRACT The development of entrepreneurship can be a major means of fighting economic inertia in rural areas. In this paper, the researcher made an attempt to understand the determinant factors of entrepreneurial activity. 400 rural entrepreneurs are selected in 40 Villages of 8 Taluk in Karnataka State, India through multiple sampling methods. Research study involved an in-depth examination of entrepreneurial activity, socio-economic variables and motives associated with rural entrepreneurship. To conclude, the various motivational factors will influence the entrepreneurship activity and their development. KEYWORDS: Entrepreneurial Motivation, Rural Development and Rural Entrepreneurs.
