Ten Students' Motivation in Memorizing Quran: A Case Study at Rumah Quran in Padang Indonesia

This research aims to find out students' motivation in memorizing Quran at An-Nazhifa and Serambi Minang, Padang, Indonesia. This research is used a qualitative method with the case study approach. The data was collected by fourty eight samples through deep interviews chosen by purposive sampling. Fourty-eight samples are the management of Rumah Quran, six of them are ustadz and ustadzah, twenty students and twenty of them are students' parents. The result of the interview will be analyzed by using NVivo12. Overall, the analysis of the research shows that there are twelve students’ motivation, such as i) get reward by reading Quran, ii) become a theologian, iii) become an hafidz, iv) achieve the goals easier, v) make the parents happy, vi) get a chance to help their parents on the afterlife, vii) to study and get the scholarship, ix) family's encouragement, x) want to be Quran's teacher. Abstract: Until today, memorization is still one of the methods used in the process of preservation of al-Qur'an. This article aims to review and analyze the methods and approaches used by a Centre of Tahfiz al-Qur'an, namely Madrasah Quran, Terengganu, Malaysia in the process to produce the students that can memorize the whole al-Qur'an. This study used the methods of documentation, observation and interviews in order to obtain the data.

This study aims to see how the Qur’an memorization program is carried out at Dar El Iman Padang's Integrated Islamic Junior High School. The method used in this research is qualitative with this type of observational research with research data sources obtained from interviews conducted directly with informants who have links with the institutions studied. All interview and observation data were then analyzed thematically using NVivo 12 Software. Based on the results of interviews with informants, it was clear that there were two programs for memorizing the Qur’an at Dar El Iman Padang Islamic Junior High School. Method on memorization the Quran in Malaysia: A study in Darul Tuba Institute, Malaysia

Until today, memorization is still one of the methods used in the process of preservation of the Qur’an. This article aims to review and analyze the methods and approaches used by a Centre of Tahfiz Quran Darul Tuba in the process to produce the students that can remember the whole Qur’an. This study used the methods of documentation, observation and interviews in order to obtain the data. Through the analysis, this study found that there are seven basic methods of memorizing the Quran; Khatam 10, Chi method, Zor Pismis, Kolay Pismis, Tekrar, Tekrar Hepsi Seypa and Has. By using these seven methods, the students could recite the whole Qur’an by memorization, without seeing the mushaf. As a researcher, I would like to suggest these methods of memorization, to be applied in all the centers, in order to produce the huffaz who can fully memorizing the Quran.

This study aims to investigate the correlation between students' ability to memorize the Qur'an and students' learning achievement in the subject of al-Quran and hadiths. To achieve the objective, the study utilized quantitative method under the frame of correlational design involving seventy eleventh grade students who took al-Qur'an hadiths subject. To collect the data, the study utilized questionnaires. The obtain data were then analyzed by using correlation analysis technique through SPPS 20.0 software. The results showed that the ability to memorize the Qur'an has a significant correlation with the students' learning achievement in the subject of al-Qur'an hadith. It is evidenced in the results of analysis that the two variables were correlated around 52.3% with a determination coefficient of 0.523 and a significance level (ρ) of 0.000. The students who have the ability to memorize the Qur'an have strong memories, good attention to details and brilliant thoughts because the students may have a lot of practice in matching the verses in the Qur'an with their memorization or recitation,. Therefore, it is expected that by increasing their ability in memorizing the Qur'an, the students can improve their learning achievement in the subject of al-Qur'an hadith since it uses Arabic as the Qur'an does.
Pembelajaran Tahfizh Al Qur’An Pesantren Nurul Huda Mergosono Malang
Learning is a process, way, and action of human for learning. Learning combines about human, facilities, devices, and procedure mutual to influence human purpose to learn. Memorize the Holy Quran is someone who memorize the Holy Quran or understand The Holy Quran by heart. This research is carried in Nurul Huda Boarding School Mergosono Malang. In this Boarding School the students are educated to understand the classical Islamic scripture. This research is focused on memorizing Holy Quran program because memorize Holy Quran program in Nurul Huda Boarding School has a target in which the student can finalize their memorize in 3 years. This research case study is to know how about learning memorizes of the Holy Quran in Nurul Huda Boarding School Mergosono Malang. Moreover, it is to know the difficulties and obstacles memorizing the Holy Quran and to know whether the students can finish their memorization in 3 years or not. This research is a Qualitative research method. The data resources are primer and seconder data. The accumulation data combines with observation, interview, documentation, and inquiry. The analysis data to pass with rank data, course data, verifying and comparative analysis.

Degradation of morals or moral decadence has attacked young generations, especially college students. Therefore, this paper aims to find out forms of moral decadence found in college students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, the data were collected through direct interviews with ten informants (college students) by using the purposive sampling technique. To strengthen interview data, the writer performed passive participation observation by coming directly to the observed location. All results of the interview were analyzed using Milles and Hauberman’s pattern. The research found nine forms of moral decadence in college students. Solution Problems of Islamic Elementary Students in Memorizing the Holy Qur’An

Various challenges one after another will confront the prospective Hafidz Al Qur'an. Parents expect their children to be able to memorize the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to find out genuinely about the problems of non-resident Islamic elementary students who attend the Tahfizdul Qur'an program. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with in-depth analysis while extracting data using data triangulation, namely: interviews, observation, and documentation. From the results of the study, the problems were found that several causes prevented them from memorizing the Qur'an; including learning problems that quickly disappeared; having difficulty in remembering; still unable to be disciplined in following the memorizing Qur'an program; feeling lazy and comfortable; and more time to play gaged than memorizing. How glorious it is to be a memorizer of the Quran because it is placed by Allah SWT in a glorious place and can practice the Quran in daily life, but if it is not based on a strong motivation then this noble activity cannot be realized properly. The Qur’an is the source of Islamic religious law. Many people try to memorize the Qur’an to achieve the priority of memorizing the Qur’an. Senior High School is one of the schools that require students to memorize the Qur’an with a target of three chapters of the Qur’an for 3 years.
