Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of the most prevalent diseases in the world, both in developed and developing countries. Indonesia ranks 4th highest in the world. Among the various provinces in Indonesia, Central Java has a fairly high prevalence of DM. Diabetic foot gymnastics is a gymnastics performed to help improve blood circulation and strengthen the thigh muscles and overcome the tendency of joint movement. Diabetic foot gymnastics can improve foot sensitivity. Objective this research: To determine the effect of foot gymnastics on the level of sensitivity in Diabetes Mellitus patients.Method: This research uses quasi experiment type (quasy experiment) with pretest postest approach. Sampling technique used is Accidental Sampling with the number of respondents is 15. Intrumen research is a questionnaire. Test analysis using Wilcoxon test.Results: After foot aids, cotton legitivity was highest (8%) (62%) and foot brush sensitivity (5%). There is an effect of foot gymnastics on increasing the sensitivity of the foot in patients with diabetes mellitus with ρ value 0.001 (<0.05). A Z value of-3,419 indicates that the level of influence is very low with a probability value of 0.03% and is proved by table Z. Conclusion: There is an effect of diabetic foot gymnastics on increasing leg sensitivity in patients with diabetes mellitus.
