Abstract

A new EcoFinDif (Economical Finite Difference) method with eliminated phase-lag and its first derivative, for periodical and/or oscillating initial or boundary value problems with an application on problems in Chemistry is presented in this paper. The method is considered economical since it is of fourteenth algebraic order and uses the minimum number of function evaluations per step.
