The purpose of this research was to identify problems, analyze needs, and develop management information system especially the process internal control of asset management on Direktorat Jenderal Sumber Daya dan Perangkat Pos dan Informatika (SDPPI - government communication and informatics organization). This system development used the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which refers to 4 phases. Those were initiation and business feasibility, requirements definitions, functional design, and verification. The analysis used to support the research methods was Enterprise Architecture (EA) and SWOT. The analysis was conducted on business process that was running at the moment. The results show that the management information system in the form of web-based applications can help the process based on activity logging assets, assets allocation, complaints, and user guide in accordance with the needs of the Direktorat Jendral SDPPI. Asset management is a series of activities related to identify the assets needed, identify the need for funds, acquire assets, provide logistics and maintenance support systems for assets, delete or update assets so that the objectives are effectively and efficient. Asset management is the process of recording, collecting data, reporting and documenting assets at a specific time based on existing provisions, proper asset management can support operational activities especially in the maintenance, repair, and procurement of assets for the organization. This study aims to design an asset management information system for the process of managing asset data and integrated asset depreciation calculation methods for universities. The methodology used in this research is Scrum, which can accommodate changes during the system design process, by taking samples based on the business process of asset management in one of the private universities. This study produced a web-based asset management information system prototype that can assist in managing asset data and calculating asset value depreciation.

The Implementation of an Asset Management and Maintenance System intended for the College of Information and Communications Technology – Bulacan State University. The researcher proposed the system because of the fast – growing number of resources of the College. The system provides the management and monitoring of assets such as computer peripherals, furniture's and appliances except for consumable materials and assets in the library such as books, theses and magazines because it is not included the scope of the system. The system offers three types of users to secure data in the system. The administrator type will be handled by the dean and assistant dean of the College. The administrator type has the privilege to view all the encoded data in the system. The technician type will be handled by the room technicians and technician of the College. They have the authority to view reports such as Monthly Report (Technician's Report) and changed the asset status. And lastly, the custodian/instructor type will be handled by the custodians and instructors of the College. The custodians and instructors are allowed to view the assets listed to their names or accounts and the assets in the room they are assigned. The encoding of information in the system is done with a separate account called secretary account. In the secretary account, the authorized person will encode all the data into the system. The secretary account also has the authority to update and delete any data in the system, since the encoding of information is done with this account.

Abstract. The Banyumas Regency Government, specifically the Regional Finance Agency of Banyumas Regency has implemented the Banyumas Regency Regional Goods Management Information System (SIMBADAMAS) for inventorying regional assets while helping to implement e-government in Banyumas Regency. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the administration of assets of the Regional Government through SIMBADAMAS in Banyumas Regency and its constraints. This research was a type of qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The data collection technique used in this study was using the literature method and also the interview method. The results of this study showed that the implementation SIMBADAMAS in administering the assets of the Regional Government of Banyumas Regency has a positive impact on the administration of assets or goods belonging to the region, resulting in accurate, accountable reports, effective and efficient so that it is can help the work of officers ...

The objective of the study is to analyze and identify the need for accounting information systems and problems regarding business process and documentation for purchasing and inventory cycle at CV. Sido Maju Jaya, afterwards create solution suggestion and design computerize accounting information system to support business process for purchasing and inventory either outright purchase and consignment on CV. Sido Maju Jaya. Design method used in this thesis is Unified Process method with Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) approach which refers to the modeling, requirements, and design discipline based on the theory of Satzinger, Jackson, and Burd. The result archived by conduction analysis and designing accounting information system on related process is a desktop based application that can support and improve business process of company especially in the recording and storage of transaction, and generate reports and journals that fit the need of the company, such as receipt of goods report, outright payment report, consignment payment report, as well as the entire memorandum and journals related to the receipt of goods and payment. The conclusion derived from result of analysis and design is suggestion to implement desktop based application which include feature to record goods ordering, receipt of goods, recheck process for receipt of goods, invoice from supplier, consignment returns, payment (outright and consignment) and goods that not fit for selling. This application can help company to improve performance related to purchasing and inventory process, increase company operation quality, and assist management in decision-making process. (AS)

Universities cannot be separated from the existence of assets owned, therefore an information system is needed that functions as a tool in the asset management process. Most asset management in the private university still using Spreadsheet besides that the management of its assets is also not centralized. These problems can be solved by creating a web-based asset management information system. The purpose of this research is for design and build an asset management information system at the private university. The method used is straight line where this method is used for problems in calculating the depreciation of assets and knowing the useful life of the asset. This system can help private university administrative staff in managing assets and calculating asset value.
