This study aims to analyze food security level, the factors affecting food security, and the efforts to increase food security of farmer household of granary member. The location of this study is chosen purposively as consideration that the group of granaries received the granary development program in Gading Rejo Subdistrict, Pringsewu Regency with 44 farmers of granary members who are selected by proportional random sampling method. Data were collected in April 2018. Food security level is analyzed using cross classification between food expenditure and food sufficiency level, factors affecting the level of food security is analyzed using ordinal logistic regression, and the efforts to increase the level of food security is analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis. The study shows that food security according to BPS category as much as 22.,73% is in secure category, 15.91% less secure, 34.09% vulnerable, and 27.27% insecure. Analysis of household food security level of rainfed lowland rice farmer in Penggendan Village District of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency is the largest food crop in Pengandonan sub district and majority of farmers in farming district are rice farmers. So that the rice crop in the village of production is the highest production. Rice-fed rice paddies are rice fields that only get water from rain water. Rainfed rice fields are usually in the rice field in the rainy season Ogan Komering Ulu District has a very large potential in agriculture in general food crops, especially that can be developed. The carrying capacity and and the land area of more than half the population work in the agricultural sector.

Indonesia saat ini menghadapi tantangan dalam meghadapi kebutuhan pangan. Pangan merupakan kebutuhan pokok penduduk yang ketersediaannya harus cukup serta berkelanjutan. Sektor pertanian diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi maupun pendapatan rumah tangga petani.Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Struktur Pendapatan rumah tangga petani di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis, (2) Struktur Pengeluaran rumah tangga petani di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis, (3) Ketahanan Pangan rumah tangga petani padi di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey terhadap 37 orag petani padi sawah yang ditentukan secara acak sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Total rata-rata pendapatan rumah tangga petani di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis sebesar Rp 3.228,000 dari total pendapatan tersebut pendapatan Petani sebagai kepala keluarga sebesar 75,95 persen yang terdiri dari pendapatan usahatani sebesar 13,93, non padi sebesar 0.41 persen dan non pertanian sebesar 61,01 persen, serta pendapatan anggota keluarga sebesar 24,05 persen yang terdiri dari pendapatan pertanian sebesar 7,22 persen dan non pertanian sebesar 16,80 dari total pendapatan rumah tangga petani. (2) Total rata-rata pengeluaran rumah tangga petani di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis sebesar Rp 2.958,500/Bulan. Dari pengeluaran tersebut dialokasikan untuk kebutuhan pangan sebesar 40% dan untuk kebutuhan nonpangan sebesar 60% dari total pengeluaran rumah tangga. (3) Tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis dilihat dari indikator tingkat subsistensi pangan tergolong rendah, indikator aksesibilitas rumah tangga tergolong tinggi, dan indikator pangsa pengeluaran pangan tergolong rendah. Dengan demikian maka secara umum tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga petani di Desa Pawindan Kecamatan Ciamis Kabupaten Ciamis tergolong Tinggi

T he purposes of t h is research were to determine t h e level of income and profits of organic rice farming SL-PTT participants , determine the level of household income SL-PTT participants , determine t h e level of welfare household SL-PTT participants in the District of Pagelaran of Pringsewu Regency. T h is research was conducted in Pagelaran and Gemah Ripah villages of Pagelaran District. The research samples were drawn from the population by simple random design. The total samples we re 77 farmers consisted of 37 SL-PTT participants and 40 SL-PTT non-participants. The d ata was analyzed by farm income analysis, household income analysis and welfare analysis based on Sajogyo’s criteria (1997). This study aims to determine household food availability of rice barn members and factors affecting the food availability. The research location is selected purposively Ambarawa of Pringsewu District with the consideration that there are most food barns in the district. Respondents were selected by using multistage sampling, which consists of 12 barns and 36 farmer members. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis using the formula available, namely output minus input. The results showed that the availability of staple food or paddy of farmer members is included in a high category, which amounted to 1,631.94 kcal/cap/day and accounted for 67.99 percent energy availability of energy supply based on the results Widya Karya National Food and Nutrition (WNPG) X. This study aims to analyze the level of farmer capacity in managing lowland rice farming in Pandeglang district and the determinants that can influence the capacity building of lowland rice farmers in supporting family food security in Pandeglanag Regency. The population in this study were lowland rice farmers who were in the research location. The research location was in three districts, namely Munjul, Sobang and Panimbang districts. The research design used qualitative and quantitative approaches involving 144 respondents representing three districts, the data collected were primary data and secondary data. Primary data were collected through interviews using questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observation and documentation study. The data consists of the characteristics of the respondent (ξ1); Technological innovation (ξ2); Extension activities (ξ3); Capacity (η1); and Family food safety (η2). The selection of respondents was carried out by proportional random sampling (proportionally random sampling) based on the research criteria. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, one way ANOVA and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the capacity of lowland rice farmers was in the medium category. The element that most influenced the capacity level was the respondent's characteristic of 0.81 (76.25 percent) through land tenure and farming experience. Meanwhile, extension activities only contributed 0.07 (2.3 percent) through indicators of extension methods and intensity. Meanwhile, technological innovation still has a negative effect on the capacity of farmers in increasing family food security. In general, the capacity of lowland rice farmers has high support for family food security, especially in indicators of consumption levels and food sustainability.

This research aims to analyze the mechanism of food granary in supporting household food availability, performance of food granary institution, and factors that affect the performance of the food granary in Ambarawa Subdistrict Pringsewu Regency. The location was determined purposively with consideration that Ambarawa Subdistrict is one district which has a lot of active food granary institutions. Data were collected in September 2016. The samples were determined proportionately randomly, as many as 30 active food granaries in Ambarawa village, Ambarawa Barat village, and Sumber Agung village. This research used a survey method, and the data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. This study aim ed to analyze the amount of rainfed farming income, food security, and food consumption pattern of rainfed farmer households ( HH ). This research was conducted by survey method at the villages of Taman Agung and Gunung Terang purposely , in which s amples constituted of 61 rainfed farmers who were drawn by simple random sampling . The d ata of this research w as collected in April – May 2018 and analyzed by descriptive qualitativeand quantitative analysis. The results showed that the rainfed farmer HH achieved the average of rice farming income of Rp 15,233,220.63 at the first season and corn farming income of Rp9,097,835.38 at the second season . Ketahanan pangan bagi rumah tangga tani sangat dipengaruhi oleh produksi pangan maupun non pangan dari hasil usahataninya. Income usahatani tidak akan sama apabila lahan yang diusahakan oleh petani berbeda antara usahatani padi dengan usahatani mendong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proporsi pengeluaran pangan petani padi dan petani mendong berkaitan dengan proporsi pengeluaran pangan dan non pangan, serta menganalisis derajat ketahanan pangan kedua rumah tangga tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan teknik survei, dengan penentuan sampel secara sensus pada 15 rumah tangga petani padi dan 18 rumah tangga petani mendong di Kecamatan Manonjaya Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan analisis persamaan Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan (PPP), Tingkat Konsumsi Energi (TKE) serta analisis kuadran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Profil rumah tangga petani mendonng dan petani padi dilihat berdasarkan proporsi pengeluaran pangan dan non pangan menunjukkan bahwa pengeluaran pangan kedua rumah tangga tersebut termasuk rendah, karena sebagian besar digunakan untuk konsumsi non pangan. Derajat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga berdasarkan Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan dan Tingkat Konsumsi Energi termasuk kategori rendah baik itu untuk petani mendong maupun petani padi karena yang berstatus tahan pangan berada < 50%, dan tidak ada yang termasuk kategori rawan pangan bagi kedua rumah tangga tersebut.

The aim of this research are to analyze the level of food security, the factors that affect the level of food security, and efforts to increase the level of food security of fisherman household. The location of this research is chosen purposively in Sukajaya Lempasing Village, Teluk Pandan Subdistrict, Pesawaran Regency in which respondents are 51 fisherman households. The data of this research was primary data and secondary data, collected in February – May 2018 and analyzed by cross-classification between the share of food expenditure and energy adequacy level, ordinal logistic regression, and descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the research showed that the majority of respondent (68.63%) were classified as less food, and the rest were classified as food secure (13.73%), vulnerable to food (5.88%), and food insecure (11.76%).
