The Role of Educational Supervisors in Developing the First Teachers’ Job Performance in the Light of the Goal Supervision Model at the Governorate of Muscat Schools: A First Supervisor’s Perspectives

This qualitative study discussed the first educational supervisors' perspectives in developing the job performance of the first teachers, due to the objective's supervision model at Muscat Governorate schools. The statement problem was the absence of the educational supervisors' role in the developing of the first teachers' performance, and the weakness of goals supervision application. The objective of the study: to discuss the role of educational supervisors in developing the first teachers' job performance in the light of supervision model, the study adopted the descriptive qualitative approach, using the interviews for data collection. The study sample were (4) supervisors at the General Directorate of Education in Muscat. The findings revealed that; the role of educational supervisors in developing the job performance of the first teachers was high of the goal supervision model; On the existence of a (high) estimate in the fields of (implementation, field follow-up, and evaluation), and on a (average) to relatively low estimate in the areas of (goals, planning) in some of the goals and plans.

اثر الرضا الوظيفي لدى معلمي مدارس التعليم الأساسي، الحلقة الثانية (5-10) بسلطنة عمان = The effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment among schools’ teachers (5-10) in Oman

The aim of this research was to examine the effect of job satisfaction on organizational commitment among teachers' schools in Oman. The descriptive survey design was adopted in this quantitative study using cross-sectional method to collect data. A five likert-scale questionnaire consisting of (69) items was distributed amongst 1000 teachers in seven educational governorates in Oman. Stratified random sampling was employed to obtain (846) questionnaires, out these 846 participants 419 were males and 427 were males. SPSS version 26 was used to conduct the descriptive analysis, while AMOS (version 24) was used to perform confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to assess the validity and reliability of this study model. AMOS was also used to examine the relationships between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The results revealed a significant direct impact of job satisfaction on organizational commitment. It also showed that teachers' qualification plays the role moderation role between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. However, both teachers' gender and teaching experience do not exert any moderation effect between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study concluded with recommendations and suggestions for future studies.

دور القيادة الاستراتيجية في تعزيز الالتزام التنظيمي لدى معلمات المرحلة الثانوية بمدينة الزلفي

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور القيادة الاستراتيجية في تعزيز الالتزام التنظيمي للمعلمات بمدينة الزلفي، وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع معلمات المرحلة الثانوية بمدينة الزلفي بالمملكة العربية السعودية، واشتملت عينة الدراسة على (205) معلمة، وتبنت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتم جمع البيانات من أفراد الدراسة عن طريق الاستبانة. وقد تضمنت نتائج الدراسة الآتي: أن واقع تطبيق القيادة الاستراتيجية من وجهة نظر معلمات المدارس الثانوية بمدينة الزلفي جاء بدرجة (عالية)؛ وأن درجة الالتزام التنظيمي جاء بدرجة (متوسطة) من وجهة نظر أفراد الدراسة، وعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) في آراء أفرد عينة البحث حول محاور الاستبانة والدرجة الكلية طبقاً إلى اختلاف متغيرات (المؤهل العلمي – عدد سنوات الخبرة)؛ ووجود علاقة إيجابية بين تطبيق القيادة الاستراتيجية وأبعاد الالتزام التنظيمي. وفي ضوء النتائج، تم وضع عدد من التوصيات، والتي تضمنت الآتي: تبني وتطبيق القيادات المدرسة بمدينة الزلفي للممارسات القيادية المتمركزة حول البعد الاستراتيجي للقيادة؛ وحرص مديرات المدارس على إشراك المعلمات في...

This study examined important aspects in the life of the Mufti of Palestine, Hajj Muhammad Amin Al-Husseini, and it aims to shed light on his leadership roles, and the importance of the study springs from in its handling of one of the most important Palestinian leadership figures in the twentieth century, and in the multiplicity of leadership roles that coincided with each other at times. The study adopted the method of historical research. It came in five sections, which dealt, respectively: his origin, his role as Mufti, his presidency of the Supreme Islamic Council, his presidency of the Higher Arab Committee, and his presidency of the Supreme Arab Authority. The study showed the leadership of Amin Al-Husseini and his leadership personality, and his great impact on the Palestinian issue and on Arab leaders and some international leaders.

The Extent of Practicing Transformational Leadership in Palestinian Universities in the Southern Governorates from the Faculty Members' Perspective

The study aimed to determine the degree of faculty members' assessment of practicing transformational leadership in Palestinian universities in the southern governorates, and to explore whether there were statistically significant differences at a level (α≤0.05) attributed to these variables (type of college, academic rank, years of service). To achieve these objectives, the researchers followed the analytical descriptive method by administering a questionnaire consisting of (60) items divided into four areas on a sample of (101) faculty members from these universities (Al-Azhar-Islamic-Al-Aqsa). The results showed that the total degree of assessment of practicing transformational leadership from the point of view of the participants in the universities was medium with a relative weight of 55.93%. The area of independence and influence occupied the first place with a relative weight of 57.75%. The area of presenting a model behavior was ranked last with a relative weight of 54.31%. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences (α≤0.05) between the participants' means of assessment due to these variables: (type of college, rank, years of service). The study recommended enhancing the concepts of transformational discourse in universities based on mutual respect and appreciation of competencies, regardless of any other considerations.

The study aimed to identify the relationship between organizational culture and administrative organization among government school principals in Diyala Governorate from the teachers' point of view. The study sample consisted of (108) male and female public school teachers who were randomly selected. To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was used. The results of the study indicated that the level of organizational culture and administrative practices among public school principals in Diyala Governorate was average from the teachers' point of view. The results showed that there is a positive and statistically significant relationship of organizational culture to the administrative organization of public school principals in Diyala Governorate from the teachers' point of view In light of the results, a set of recommendations were presented. دور القيادة الخادمة في تحسين أداء إدارة التعليم بمحافظة بيشة بالمملكة العربية السعودية

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على واقع العلاقة بين القيادة الخادمة وتحسين الأداءفي إدارة التعليم بمحافظة بيشة؛ ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي، واستخدم الاستبانة كأداة لجمع البيانات، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها: أنواقع القيادة الخادمة في إدارة التعليم بمحافظة بيشةجاءت بدرجة مرتفعة، وواقع الأداء في إدارة التعليم بمحافظة بيشة جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وأن العلاقة بين القيادة الخادمة وتحسين الأداءفي إدارة التعليم بمحافظة بيشةكانت متوسطة، وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة اهتمام المدير في إدارة التعليم بوضع رؤية الموظفين ضمن أهداف وغايات المنظمةبمحافظة بيشة، وإتباع إجراءات عادلة في التعامل مع العاملين، وتنمية مهارات العاملين وفق الأساليب العلمية الحديثة، والتشجيع على تقديم أفكار مبتكرة وجديدة لتحسين العمل الإداري بمحافظة بيشة.

Measuring Effectiveness of Teaching Performance for Staff Members at the College of Education / Garmian University from Students' Point of View

The current research aims measuring the effectiveness of teaching performance for teaching staff at the college of Education / Garmian University from students' point of view. the researcher randomly identified (497) students to represent the research milieu that is distributed among (10) of other departments in the college for the academic year 2019-2020. The (190) students have chosen to represent the sample. Then, the questionnaire was prepared as a research tool as well as distributed to some of pedagogy experts to verify its validity; As a result the rate agreement was (84%) percentage. The stability has been also checked by using (re-test) of (25) students of the same college. By using the Pearson correlation coefficient the stability showed (0,89%) Accordingly, the questionnaire has been distributing to the sample of research. Statistically, research shows that the effectiveness of the teaching performance for teaching staff in the College of Education / Garmian University in the field of (personal characteristics) that they take into account the individual differences between students, and the field of (lecture preparation) has shown the way they use different resources and references for the educational material. The field of (academic performance) has shown that they can present the scientific materials fluency, and in the field of (scientific and professional competencies) they can even answer students' questions outside teaching hours, and in the field of (activities and evaluation) they take into account the comprehensiveness of the tests for the all aspects of the curriculum.
