Introduction: The satisfaction of families with the care provided to patients in Palliative Care (PC) is considered an important indicator of their quality, with the nurse assuming a prominent position. Objetives: To evaluate the degree of satisfaction of family members of patients hospitalized in PC regarding the care provided and to analyze their relationship with sociodemographic variables. Methods: Quantitative descriptive-correlational study in a non-probabilistic sample for convenience of 96 relatives of patients hospitalized in the Center of Portugal, using a questionnaire of sociodemographic data and the FAMCARE Scale, translated and validated in Portugal by Almeida (2012). Results: The family members are 67.7% women, assuming themselves as primary caregivers (73.8%), aged ≤ 64 years (84.6%).
