Media enterprises, have an organisational structre that depends on labour force and brain power. Technological development and even the high level technological regulations that has been gained as a result of modernism, couldn't degrade the importance of the creativity and the dependence to interpretation of human beings. Because of that reality, the employees that are working at the media enterprise must be highly qualified. No other branch of business is dependent on human abilities as media sector. Media sector, that needs a talented labour force by its nature have started to evaluate their staff with a perspective thats based upon talent, in order to gain, retain and improve the abilites of the talented and qualified people and also to develop the performance of this work force, because of the changing cyclical needs. Talent V management, named as the new vision of human resources management, is started to applied by the global media sector, as an approach that is useful for the readers and the advertisers. This talent management approach is a new phenomenon for the media sector of our country. With this study, we are trying to determine that whether the human resources departments are pursueing the functions of talent management at their instutitons or not, to put forward the importance and the place of talent management approach for the enterprises and to make suggestions about this subject. As a result of our research, its understood that the talent management approach doesn't have a conscious field of application but the human resources departments of the media enterprises, partly fullfilled the functions of this approach.
