The British post-war Welfare State originated from so called Beveridge Report (1942). The Labour government was successful in its effort to transform the war economy to peace conditions; the realization of its reform programme from spring 1945, mainly forming the Welfare State, i.e. the nationalization of key industries, creating of national system of insurance and system of social security benefits,
