New Education Policy-2020 and Society (original) (raw)
The National Education Policy-2020 has been adopted in order to offer high-quality education that will help students deal with India's expanding economy. Highest quality, equity, and integrity in the educational system from K-12 to higher education are the three main goals of the new policy. Due to the fact that it has an impact on all economic sectors, including banking, manufacturing, services, and research and development, management and commerce education is crucial to a nation's economy. Many industries depend on money, and understanding how to manage it is related to management and business. The current educational system in India is largely theoretical and does not provide students with high-quality practical training, which leaves a major gap in their ability to compete for jobs around the world. As a result, the National Education Policy-2020 intends to foster the analytical thinking, creative talents, and competencies that are required in the global employment market. Hence, all business and management courses should be redesigned using outcome-based learning, so that those involved can know in advance what they will learn and how to improve themselves in order to deal with future changes in the economy and why doing so will be advantageous. A comprehensive framework that directs the growth of education in India is the National Education Policy. As Congress Member Siddeshwar Prasad attacked the thengovernment for requiring vision and philosophy for educational changes, the need for the strategy became apparent. A 17-member Education Commission led by UGC Chairperson DS Kothari was established at this time to create a comprehensive national education policy. The first Education Policy was adopted by Parliament in 1968 based on recommendations made by the Commission. Typically, a new NEP appears after a few decades. In India, there have been three reforms thus far. .
