This study aimed to examine and analyze the implementation of corporate social responsibility as a legal obligation for plantation companies in Seluma Regency carried out by PTPN VII of Padang Pelawi Business Unit. The type of this study was juridical empirical with descriptive research design. The results of this study indicated that the implementation of CSR by PTPN VII of Padang Pelawi Business Unit had been carried out with the Partnership and Community Development Program (known as PKBL in Indonesian abbreviation) based on the State-Owned Enterprise Ministerial Regulation Number: 09/MBU/07/2015 concerning the Partnership and Community Development Program for State-Owned Enterprises and its amended regulations. This research aims to analyze the implementation of East Kutai Palm Oil Companies Corporate Social Responsibility. This is a deductive-qualitative research by data collecting through observation and semi-structure interview to the company middle line. This research was conducted in three companies in East Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan Province in three different sub-districts namely Sangkulirang Sub-district, Muara Ancalong Sub-district and Sandaran Sub-district. The research focuses are the implementation of CSR in community development which is studied from its contribution in the social, education, economy, health, environtmental conservation and infrastructure and its inhibiting factors. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the CSR implementation whether is has been operating effectively and influenced by the district government or otherwise. In addition, it is also to examine whether there is any effect of the application of CSR to the regional development or otherwise. This study is conducted in the district of South Labuhan Batu in North Sumatera province, while the location is at the palm oil mill companies, government offices in the district and surrounding communities who are associated with the environment of those palm oil mill companies. The explanatory design is used by applying the method of survey in the South Labuhan Batu district and the variables consists of role of government, CSR implementation and regional development. The population is divided into three categories: (i) the existing palm oil mill companies in the South Labuhan Batu district of 21 companies; (ii) south Labuhan Batu district government, represented by the Head of sub-districts and villages; (iii) the society of South Labuhan Batu district as the stakeholders of 275,067 people. While the sampling method is chosen as many as 100 respondents. The study concludes that the role of government partially has a positive and significant impact on the CSR implementation, and CSR variable partially has a positive and significant effect on the regional development. The role of government partially has a positive and significant impact on regional development, and the role of government is the more dominant variable when compared with CSR variable.

The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Indonesia has not been fully implemented properly. This study aims to determine the extent of the benefits of implementing CSR programs provided by companies to the public. Specifically, this research was carried out on the implementation of CSR programs carried out by Shopee, Shopee for the Country, for the community, in this case, the Pringgodani community as the recipient of assistance. This village is widely known for bamboo crafts made by craftsmen in the village. This study use three methods of data collection, namely: interview method, observation, and documentation to maintain data validity and reliability. This study aims to build the implementation model of CSR from the existing companies in Manado and Minahasa, North Sulawesi-Indonesia. The research used qualitative method. After data are collected, the analysis process begins. There are three phases to data analysis such as data reduction, data presentation and model building. The collected data are reduced according to the implementation of CSR and bring up many themes. Based on these themes, the data are presented and the process to draw conclusion is begun and finally the model is built. To implement their CSR, companies build the concept themes of CSR implementation, provide the CSR funds, and prepare the programs and reports. Business ethics, good corporate governance, compliance in regulation and benefit to society and environment become the concept of CSR implementation. The programs such as charity, philanthropy and community development activities which are done as routine and non routine activities in the short term or long term programs. The funding of these activities needs to be budgeted from their internal policy. The reports include CSR activity reports, financial and annual reports. Therefore, the model is built from the element of concept, funds, programs and reports on their CSR implementation.

The purpose of this article is to provide a theoretical overview of Corporate Social Responsibility implemented at PT Bumi Serpong Damai by using a descriptive approach to explore and review the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility through the Community Development program. The implementation of corporate social responsibility which covers the economic, socio-cultural and environmental fields gives a good influence, which is beneficial for the community, the target environment and the company. The Company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program has also synergized the Company's business efforts with support for the surrounding environment.
