The purpose of this study is to examine the research program to increase teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri, the factors that support the implementation of training to increase teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri and the factors that hinder the evaluation procedure of teacher professionalism improvement training at SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri.. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, and document review. This qualitative method is used for several reasons. The place of research is SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri and the informants are teachers who teach at SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri. The results of the study show that in the certification program, where the certification program in the implementation of teacher professional development in this school has been carried out to the maximum, for that the professionalism of educators must be improved and developed. Educators and education staff are professionals who demand the existence of an adequate skill or skill for a teacher in carrying out their profession. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the supporting factors that increase the professionalism of teachers carried out by SMP Negeri 4 Tombariri are quite good, including training activities, attending education and training (training) attending workshops and following those related to the curriculum, for example curriculum technical guidance for development themselves and improve the professional competence of teachers.
The Principal's Strategy for Improving the Professionalism of Public Madrasah Aliyah School Teachers

This study aims to determine the principal's strategy for improving teacher professionalism at Aliyah Negeri 10 High School South Tangerang. This research uses qualitative methods. Data is collected through observation techniques, interviews, and document studies. Furthermore, it is analyzed with three activity flows: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study show that: (1) the principal's policy process in improving teacher professionalism has been running well. Laws and government regulations guide them. Mengidentifikasi tantangan bagi guru dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme mereka dalam mengajar untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Keterbatasan fasilitas pendukung dan minimnya peran serta masyarakat dalam mendukung program pemerintah mempengaruhi kinerja guru dalam mengajar. Fokusnya ditujukan pada pengembangan profesionalisme mengajar dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru SMP di Makassar dalam menghadapi kendala yang muncul di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui studi kasus untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan profesionalisme dalam mengajar. 36 sampel untuk kuesioner terbuka dan sembilan di antaranya dipilih secara purposive untuk diwawancarai. Data dianalisis dengan pengkodean berdasarkan tema yang terkait dengan kendala dalam pengelolaan pengajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat kendala yang dialami oleh guru dalam mengembangkan profesionalisme mereka, yaitu kendala pada buku pelajaran dan lembar kerja siswa, penggunaan laboratorium sekolah, media berbasis TIK, dan siswa itu sendiri. Identifikasi ini dapat mendorong masyarakat dan orang tua untuk membiayai penyelenggaraan pendidikan dan pengembangan profesionalisme dalam mengajar serta meningkatkan kreatifitas guru untuk bekerja secara efektif.

This research is motivated by the fact that at Al-Ittihad High School, there is a lack of awareness of students towards the practice of religion. This study aimed to determine the principal's program in planning, organizing, implementing, supervising, supporting, and inhibiting factors from improving the professionalism of teachers at Al-Ittihad High School. This research is qualitative descriptive field research. They are collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation methods. Analysis of the data used is a qualitative analysis consisting of three components of analysis: data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. All three are carried out interactively with the data collecting process as one cycle. The results show that planning is done by improving the quality of teachers, continuing education to a higher level, providing adequate honorarium incentives, involving teachers in training, workshops, seminars, workshops, and so on.

This study aimed at determining the program, implementation, evaluation, and looking at the supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the school principal of Madrasah Aliyah in carrying out their duties as supervisors. The method used in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This study is conducted in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 3 Padang. This study aims to determine and describe the role of professionalism of teachers in planning learning, implementing learning, evaluating learning in improving the quality of education in junior high schools in Sumber Marga Telang District, Banyuasin Regency, the obstacles faced by teachers in planning learning, implementing learning, evaluating learning in improving the quality of education. and strategies for planning lessons, implementing learning, evaluating learning in improving the quality of education in schools. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data sources of this research are from the principal and teachers. Data collection techniques were obtained from: (1) observation; (2) interview; and (3) documentation. The results of this study were obtained: (1) it can be said that they play an active role, where the teacher plans in advance in preparing the lesson plans, in carrying out the learning according to the established curriculum; (2) The obstacles faced include the lack of learning resources as a supporting medium for teachers in delivering learning so that the learning process that is delivered does not run as expected and is less than optimal; (3) The strategy is carried out by discriminating the ability of teachers and utilizing minimal learning resource.

The ability of a teacher to understand his or her competence greatly determines the success of his students, because students will develop if the teachers are able to develop themselves by increasing their professionalism. This research method used a quantitative approach with a sample of teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Falah Depok. The results of this study indicate that there is no positive and significant influence both activities to increase teacher professionalism and learning evaluation techniques on teacher performance at the Mifathul Falah Sawangan school, Depok.
A study on Professionalism of Secondary School Teachers
A professional teacher needs to be confident without being arrogant. Nobody can expect to have all the answers, so if a student asks a weird doubt, the professional teacher should be able to admit defeat but offer to find out more for the student and they must carry that promise out. Proper preparation is another crucial requirement of professionalism. When the teacher enters the classroom s/he should have all the required materials and the lesson plan ready. The researcher has pursued a study on such professionalism of teachers, as to how a teacher is aware towards his / her professional ethics, and how such awareness can bring results in the rewards and achievements of students. The study was conducted on 1044 teachers of secondary schools in saurashtra Region Comprising of 11 districts of Gujarat. The study was conducted using a self constructed scale “Secondary School Teachers Professionalism Scale”. The variables under study were Nature of Job, Qualification, Professional Qualification, Family Background, and Education Board. The method of research was descriptive survey research. The tool comprised of ten components viz. Time Keeping, Content Mastery, Contemporary Knowledge, Communication with Students, Communication with Colleagues, Delivery Mechanism, Pro-Activeness and Follow up, Parents Counselling and Students Counselling. The findings of research are, Nature of Job as a variable affect the Contemporary Knowledge and Physical Appearance of the Teachers. The Qualification of Teachers affected the Time Keeping, Contemporary Knowledge, Communication with Students, Communication with Colleagues, Pro Activeness and Followup, Parents Counselling and Students Counselling. The Professional Qualification affected the Students Counselling of Teachers. The Family Background affected the Parents Counselling of Teachers. The Education Board affected the Time Keeping, Content Mastery, Contemporary Knowledge, Delivery Mechanism, Parents Counselling and Students Counselling. Schools and Educational institutes can use the tool to measure the professionalism of teachers and can device training programmes to enhance professionalism for relevant components. The findings highlights key components where Other Board teachers are score better in professionalism and the same can used to device training programme for Gujarat Board teachers to improve for such key components. Over all, the research will help the teacher in general to measure the professionalism of self and motivate development of professionalism.
