Means of Measurement of Relative Quality Indicators by Immittance Parameters (original) (raw)

Quality control based on electrical resistivity measurements

The electrical resistivity of concrete is one of the main parameters controlling the initiation and propagation of reinforcement corrosion. It is common knowledge that concrete electrical resistivity is mainly dependent on the w/c ratio (pore connectivity), volume and type of cement, temperature and the moisture. This research work studies the effect of specimen shape and temperature of measurement on electrical resistivity measurements of concrete using the four-point Werner electrode. In addition, the estimation of future values based on early age measurements is also studied.

Indicators used to measure the quality of products

Creativity and Management International Conference – New Face of TMCR, ModTech, Technical University of Moldavia-Chişinău & Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of IaşiAt: Chişinău, Moldavia RepublicVolume: ISBN 978-9975-45-115-4

It is well known that nowadays, clients expect high quality of purchased products and therefore, companies have to be able to measure the quality of products they supply, trying to see the measure in which those satisfy costumer's needs and expectations. The quality level of products can be measured using several indicators such as partial indicators of quality products, indicators of quality classes, scraps indicators, indicators of customer complaints. In the following paper we shall see how this indicators can be calculated and how they reflect the quality level of products.

Evaluation of the Measurement System Precision - Basic Component in the Quality Control Process

The use of measurement system Repeatability and Reproducibility (R&R) studies is widespread in abroad industry. Such analyses have become mandatory for many companies who supply the automotive industry and is now an integral part of the QS 9000:1998 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 automotive industry standards. It is the aim of this paper to address such issues and to show a measurement system R&R case study that was made in a major local automotive company. 1. MEASUREMENT SYSTEM ANALYSIS Measurement systems are used every day in manufacturing , research and development, sales and marketing. Measurement systems are a critical component in the quality a company provides to its customers and they represent a significant investment. Measurement systems are essential to the quality of a manufacturing process because the measurement process itself is subject to variation, and excessive variation in the measurement systems can mask critical variation in the manufacturing process. Measurements are t...

Quality management for electricity as a processed material

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2000

The offer provided by an electric utility combines many characteristics of a service together with the continuous delivery of electricity as a product. The quality of electricity as a processed material, resulting from a continuous process and having immediate delivery in continuous flow, can be adversely affected by the end-use processes of other customers, besides by the continuous-process reliability. Hence, the guidelines endorsed by ISO Standard 9004-3 for the quality management of processed materials must be suitably tailored in the case of electricity. Problems that must be dealt with to control the characteristics critical to quality of electricity are discussed in the paper. In this connection, the measurement activities oriented to the quality management are considered, mainly to outline open unsolved problems.

Selected Method of Image Analysis Used in Quality Control of Manufactured Components

2018

The paper deals with the quality measurement process using the KEYENCE® industrial monochromatic camera and its calibration to determine the dimensions of the component under quality control process. The threshold value determines the shape of the component and the histogram method determines the number of pixels of the selected analyzed area. After calibrating the camera with a scale and changing the camera's distance to the object, a general equation was obtained from the measured points. Using this equation, it is possible to determine the size of the measured object from pixels. The average relative error of the object's dimensions was: length - 1.94 % and the width of 100 components was: 1.31 %. In quality control, monochrome cameras can be used to measure product dimensions, along with image processing principles and with other measure methods.

Use of dielectric properties in quality measurement of agricultural products

A number of applications for capacitive sensor in agriculture have been used by different researchers over the past years. They measured the dielectric constant and loss factor of material which correlates well with certain quality factors of the products such as moisture content and ripeness. This paper presents an overview of various utilizations of dielectric properties in precision agriculture. [Mahmoud Soltani, Reza Alimardaniand, Mahmoud Omid. Use of dielectric properties in quality measurement of agricultural products. Nature and Science 2011;9(4):57-61]. (ISSN: 1545-0740). http://www.sciencepub.net.

A Survey & Comparison of Quality Control Techniques in Gauge Design

International Journal For Science Technology And Engineering, 2017

This research paper provides the study of various quality control methods and also their comparison with their advantages as well as applications. This study has helped us in our project which is based on gauge designing and as has also helped us understand the need of quality control. The company that has sponsor our project is a TQM (Total Quality Management) adapted company and demands an increased quality controlled product. Also the global industry depends on quality and metrology to establish confidence between customer and supplier. Global trade is open to all and in order to take part effectively in today’s global economy QSTM (Quality, Standardization, Testing and Metrology) activities are essential to improve productivity and social as well as economic development .The National measurement system provides a coherent formal system which ensures that measurement can be made on consistent basis throughout the country. The quality council of India has been established in India...

METHODOLOGY OF DEVELOPING MATHEMATICAL MODELS FOR QUALITY INDICES CONTROL

It is proposed to set the structure of metal products quality as a hierarchical tree of properties. Input and output variables and also control parameters of technological processes are represented as universal multitudes in formalization of the process of production quality indices handling in hardware industry technologies. Presence of simultaneously diversified information initiating different types of independence, is characteristic of solving problems of metal products quality indices control.

Computer-aided quality – Statistica and measurement systems analysis

2010

This paper deals with the problems of evaluation variability sources in a measurement system. Those variability sources are evaluated by the methods of Measurement System Analysis (MSA). The Microsoft Excel by the help of Statistica (connection through Visual Basic for Office Applications) is used for this evaluation.
