The main focus of this research is to explain the community response of society in Sambirejo Village in developing tourism in Breksi Cliffs. Responses are assessed from three aspects namely: perception, attitude and participation. Data analysis is done by understanding and compiling data that has been collected systematically. The aim is to find the community’s response to tourism and the level of community participation in tourism management. The result of this study is two types of responses namely positive and negative. Positive response arises from people who want to take advantage of business opportunities, the formation of local institutions, and the change in status experienced by the management members of Breksi Cliffs. While the negative response arises from the group of miners who were directly affected by mine stop regulation. The potential for nature tourism in Suak Gual Village as a tourist destination in Belitung Regency has not been well managed. This study aims to examine the tourism potential in Suak Gual Village to increase development in disadvantaged areas. Specifically, this study aims to (1) examine the factors inhibiting tourism development in Suak Gual Village, (2) developing the Student Community Service Program for Tourism Development in Suak Gual Village, and (3) evaluating the Student Community Service Program results in Suak Gual Village. It has been commonly understood that tourism development in rural areas can generate a unique dynamic in the social life of the village communities. This includes a recognition of the collective and cohesive village communities. The significance of socio-cultural factors in tourism is reflected in many villages in Yogyakarta. Taking a case study in Tanjung village as a rural tourism destination in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta, this study investigated the social and cultural impacts of rural tourism development on the host community. By using a qualitative method, the data in this study came from in-depth interviews with the head of village tourism management and village residents, focus group discussions, and field observations. The purpose of this study is to describe community involvement in the development of Kragilan Top Selfie Pinusan tourist destinations (TSPK) and explain the role of Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) in developing TSPK tourist destinations. This study uses the concept of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) as an analytical framework. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with parties related to TSPK tourist destinations. The results of the study indicate that community participation in the process of developing the TSPK was encouraged by the local community namely Pokdarwis (tourism-aware group). Tour is a form of people's journey which is done in their spare times, for short of time and pleasure. This kind of journey, which is done without geographic border, influences the supporting facilities and infrastructure for tourism to meet the needs of tourists. The business opportunity based on the tourists' satisfaction (market driven) makes the tourism development indicator only measured from quantity aspects, like number of visitors, length of stay and the tourists' expenditure. This research was conducted to: (1) analyze the impact of tourism development toward the socio-economic condition of the local people; and to recommend tourism development form to improve the life quality of the local people. The method of this research is survey with statistic data analysis and descriptive. The variables of economy impact used as indicators in the research are: income level, and employment rate. While, the indicators of social impacts are the alteration of behavior, ethics, thinking pattern and culture values and conservation. This research was conducted to utilize a model of community participation in the development Cupak Village as a Tourist Destination in Jombang, East Java, Indonesia. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, which describes the participation of the community in the development of a tourist village. The informants in this study were village officials, pokdarwis administrators, local youth organizations, community representatives and visitors. Information was taken through structured interviews. The study results show that developing a tourism village requires participation from various parties, including the community as the major actor, the local government, and stakeholders in charge of providing guidance. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that affect the development of the KEK Tourism Kelayang Cape as an alternative economy after tin mining. The research method used with quantitative descriptive design, the number of samples are 80 SME based on Tourism. Analysis of the data by using the second order analysis with the Principal Component Analysis (PCA) or known as PLS Formative with the XLSTAT PLS-PM Progam. Research findings indicate that the factors that affect the development of KEK Tourism Kelayang Cape, sequentially from the largest is a media networking and communication Industry, the behavior and consumer reactions, marketing strategy, politic-economicsocial support and technology, government regulation, natural environment, skills and expertise and Industrial action and the competition. The results of research has implications for the management practices that within the framework of the speed up the development of KEK Tourism Kelayang Cape, The most important is the more expand network media and communication industry in the current digital era, but the best performance is skills and expertise but this dimension is not so important.
