Aplicaciones recientes de la Estructura Agroecológica Principal (EAP) en Colombia (original) (raw)

We present various applications of the Main Agroecological Structure of the Major Agroecosystems (MAS) in Colombia, through four projects that have studied the conservation of agrobiodiversity in horticultural systems, resilience of coffee agroecosystems, landscape evolution in farms belonging to Ecovillages and relationships between the MAS and plant health in citrus crops. The results show that the concept is valuable not only to describe agroecosystems but also to relate it to other functions and emergencies.
