Abstract

This foray takes us into the depths of the Wombat Forest to discover the amazing diversity of the fungal kingdom. We will seek fungi of interest and discover insights about their role in supporting the forest. Participants will learn the basic characteristics and techniques for identifying fungi using one's senses and assisted by field guides. The foray will go ahead regardless of weather so be sure to wear sturdy shoes and wet weather gear. Time: 12:30 - 15:30.
